Cadre magique !
À 2h de route de l’aeroport de Dubai, cet hôtel splendide se cache derrière des montagnes rocheuses du Nord d’Oman. Entre successions de fjords, mer à 33 degrés et démarche eco responsable, cet hôtel de luxe a su trouver le parfait endroit! Chaque villa a sa propre piscine privée et son butler. Un dépaysement assuré et un personnel d’une très grande bienveillance. Just go!

Enchantement , beauté, service
L'enchantement débute quelques kms avant d'arrivée, alors qu'on découvre cette oasis entièrement créée sur une plage isolée dernière la montagne. Le resort se présente comme un village omani avec des ruelles bordées de vegetation. Tout est beau, et impeccablement soigné, avec une attention particulièrement écologique. Les villas sont grandes, propres , avec piscine privée et parfaois accès direct à la plage, décorées pour ressembler à une maison locale , mais avec tout le confort d'un 5 étoiles. De nombreuses activités peuvent séduire les plus energiques , et tous les restaurants servent une tres bonne nourriture . Le service est à la fois attentif et discret.N'étant qu'à 2 heures en voiture de Dubai , c'est une retraite cachée parfaite pour se remettre d'un voyage d'affaires , ou bien se retrouver en famille, car tout est prévu pour y acceuillr enfants et ados. Nous y reviendrons certainement!

Très bel hôtel, dans un lieu magnifique. Très très propre. On se croirait en pleine nature. Le personnel est très sympa. Le buffet du petit déjeuner gigantesque et très bon. Les dîners sont très parfumés et bien assaisonnés. Je recommande l'arrivée en parapente, c'est magnifique et ça ne fait pas peur du tout (c'est une première pour moi).

Wir sind aus München angereist. Unkomplizierter Flug nach Dubai und dann entspannte Taxifahrt - 2 Stunden - nach Zighy Bay. Der Aufenthalt war jeden Euro wert. Die Hitze ist aufgrund der Pools und des traumhaften Strandes / Wassers gut auszuhalten. Die Klimaanlage in der Villa ist überraschend leise.

5 Stars for the Six Senses
My recent stay at Six Senses Zighy Bay was easily one of the greatest experiences of my life. The only thing more astounding than the breathtaking setting of this 5 Star result, with the powder soft sand and its pristine beach set against the backdrop of the majestic mountains, was the World Class Service by the entire staff. Kudos to General Manager McGrath and his team. From the moment that we were warmly greeted upon arrival by our G.E.M. (butler) and given a tour of the grounds on the way to our luxurious villa. From the incredible service of the restaurant staff to the true pampering that we received in the spa, every moment of our stay was top notch. I highly recommend the Six Senses at Zighy Bay for anyone conducting a trip to the beautiful county of Oman.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings, excellent food choice and quality, activities and staff. Very cosy and clean resort and plenty of activities for the children. Amazing beach and sea very safe for swimming and lots of fish to see from the shores. Would recommend a snorkeling trip

good but not great
The location is great and the villas with the private pool provide privacy in a beautiful setting. beautiful sand beach, although we couldn’t go into the water as it was full of tar. we realize this is not the hotel’s fault but they could have worn us as I was shocked to find my feet full of black tar stains after a beach walk. New beach restaurant in a scenic setting but unfortunately the food quality was not what one would expect in a 5 star resort. On the positive, they have good quality special dinner events such as the beach bbq. Villas are unfortunately dated and need investment to reflect 5* rating. Air conditioning dated and very noisy making it difficult to sleep. Promoted Butler service wasn’t noticeable and lacked butler engagement. Average restaurant menu quality, very disappointed for the quality you would expect at a 5* Hotel. We have travelled a lot and have stayed in various 5* hotels and although the setting and surroundings are really unique and amazing, it is just not great value for money unless they invest in villas and food menu/quality upgrade.

Dear Anonymous , Thank you very much for taking the time to make this review. First and foremost, I would like to apologize for the inconveniences you may have faced during your visits with us. As you are our valued customer, I appreciate your feedback regarding dated air conditioning & AC noise, butler engagement, food menus and tar on the beach. We constantly are evolving the resort and upgrading facilities to be able to meet expectations always. Installation of new AC’s with minimal fan noise is process. We are going to install new TV’s with blue tooth and you can connect the iPhone with sound system through Bluetooth this year. I am very sorry to note that the GEM (guest experience maker) couldn’t serve you at his best. I have shared your feedback and rest assured corrective measures will be taken if any standard was not met. We are in process reviewing our menus to enhance quality and better value for money. Your comments about the tar/oil are very reasonable. Whilst it is not a regular occurrence at the resort it does sometimes happens that waves of oil pellets as well as rubbish make their way onto our pristine shore. Our hosts are relentlessly sweeping and collecting litter and tar daily. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Nevertheless, as we pride ourselves on delivering a memorable experience. I am thrilled to read that you enjoyed your overall stay with us I hope that the above issues will not deter you from visiting us again we hope you choose to stay with us again whenever your travel needs bring you back. Heaven on earth
We visited in August when the resort was at its very hottest. Some days it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The gaps between the villas are like dusty country lanes. The rooms are rustic but luxourious at the same time. The service is always just right, attentive without being over bearing. The food particularly the arabic restaurant is exceptional - the only slight failing was the Indian menu

Very very nice place. We had amazingg time go take the activiies such as fishing snorkling and kayaking the restraunts are nice and the hospitality is very good the food is nice too but bit on the expensive time but worth it for a weekend it is perfect.

Please don't wake me up from this dream!
I thought I had seen it all until I say Zighy Bay! I kept thinking I will wake up and know it was a dream! This place looks like a village all on sand. It feels like you're in medieval times. No cars, no noise, no polution! Villas made by stone and beautifully decorated with its private yard and pool, outdoor shower..... It's a very different experience than anything else you have seen.

Wonderful Location
Location is really special. Staff and Service are perfect. Some of facilities like Air conditioner, Water piping need repair I think. But anyway it was totally amazing trip with my family. Appreciate for all.
