L’hotel è certamente un po’ rustico e le stanze sono abbastanza piccole, ma comunque molto caratteristico. La cosa che abbiamo apprezzato di più è stata la gentilezza dello staff. Le due persone alla reception sono meravigliose, sorridenti e super disponibili. Ci siamo sentiti accolti e a casa. Abbiamo solo fatto un po’ fatica a trovare l’hotel, poiché la posizione nelle mappe del sito Expedia è sbagliata, quindi attenzione!

작지만 가성비 좋고 특히 호텔주인이 아주 친절합니다 1층에서 모카,블루마운틴 두가지 로스팅한 원두로 싱글오리진으로 마실수도 있고 블랜딩해서 마실수도 있습니다. 단점이라면 온수는 물을 틀어놓고 조금 기다려야 나옵니다. 화장실이 작기 때문에 샤워실이나 화장실 크기에 예민하신분이라면 비추입니다

Disappointing
First, the hotel is not 6 KM from the National Forest Park as indicated in hotels.com, but about 40 KM from it. This was disappointing but might not have been the hotel's fault. That said, the service at the hotel itself was bad. We had no hot water on our first night. There was also no room cleaning service while we were there. When we asked the front desk person for towels and shampoo bottles we were treated as though we had asked for the moon. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place (and hotels.com should update its system for Zhangjiajie to show that this hotel is nowhere close ot the National Forest).

張家界空港に夜中の1時ごろの到着でしたが、事前に予約しておいたお迎えがあって安心して宿泊ができました。 また、ホテルに入る前に２４時間利用できるＡＴＭにも寄っていただいてとても助かりました。スタッフの方もとても感じがよくて市内なので利便性がよくてまた利用したいと思います。

기대 안하고 갔는데...정말 넘 아담하고 괜찮은 숙소였습니다. 특히 여자직원이 넘 친절해서 넘 마음들었습니다.장가계여행 자유여행의 도움 정말 많이 줬습니다.계획부터 어떻게 가야하는지 자세하게 알려줘서 넘 감사하고 숙소 위치도 버스 정거장이란 가까워서 편해고 주변 상점 식당들이 많아서 편리하고 .천문산케이블카 타는곳도 걸어갈수 있어 좋았습니다. 방이 단점이라하면 비행기 소리가 들립니다.근데 산행하고 돌아와서 피곤해서 자는데 문제 되지 않습니다.침대가 편해서 푹 잤습니다. 여튼 넘 맘에 들고 도움 많이 되는 숙소라서 장가계자유여행하시는분께 강추입니다. 또 장가계 가게되면 또 이용할 계획입니다^^

Hotel California was super nice! The hotel was really close to the city (bus station, train station and cable car). The host was speaking good english and was really helpful with us for all our activities. I would really recommand this hotel if you stay in Zhangjiajie. The rooms was really nice and beautiful.

The property owner Sofia was so helpful with helping us get around Zhangjiajie National Forest. Her recommendations were extremely helpful and appreciated. The hotel is very cute and unique. Our only complaint were the beds were very very hard. Not something we are used to being from Canada so it took a little getting used to... other than that amazing hotel! Location was close to Tianamen Mountain main gate and a lot of delicious restaurants.

Great location, amazing staff, needs a really really good clean. Toilet is basically right in the way of the shower, all the skirtings need a good clean as it is quite dirty. But the bedding was clean.

Best thing was that there was a washer, dryer, and free detergent. Smokers could use the roof—no balconies in rooms. Location is excellent for Zhangjiajie. Economical, clean, hot and cold drinking water available in rooms, but don’t expect luxury. Rooms were comfortable enough but rather small, bathroom was tiny (no enclosure for showering). I’d rate it 3 stars as a bed-and-breakfast; it should not call itself a hotel.

For this point, I think you can judge even only from the room rate. But the service we offer to our guests are much better than five star hotel.For example, we offer free maps, free explanation of the places of interests in Zhangjiajie, so our guests can easily go to all the tourism places in Zhangjiajie without hiring a guide, which helps to save our guests money and bring more happy and free feeling. Sorry we do not have balconies in rooms, but from my knowledge,many luxury hotel and five star hotel also do not have balconies. Balcony is not a standard for hotel at all. We can not sove balcony issue since it need re-build the whole building. But anyway, many thanks for your good suggestion. Thanks again for staying with us! Welcome to Hotel California again!

Little hotel but great location for Tianmen Moutain and Zhangjiajie National Park. Bathroom area has a unique set up but we were only there for 3 nights. Staff is nice and helpful. Some language barrier but to be expected. Owner has great English. You can do free laundry (only one washer/dryer) and exchange money which was a great plus. Overall would recommend this budget friendly hotel.

A basic but cozy hotel, extremely close to the Zhangjiajie's train station, bus station (for getting to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park), and the cable car (for getting to Tianmen Mountain). I was extremely grateful that the hotel offered to pick me up from the airport. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the nearby tourist attractions and can help you plan your days. A bunch of eateries are also nearby for lunch and dinner, as well as a supermarket for snacks and extra water. A very pleasant stay, highly recommend and will be returning as soon as I have the chance to travel to China again.

very comfortalbe hotel. The boss is super kind and speak English very well. The room is warm and comfortable. I come with a big bag of dirty clothes, they help to wash all clean in the laundry room at the top floor, it really gives me home feeling. They have good good coffee, nice American breakfast, this is really rare in Zhangjiaije. They give me free maps, and tell me all the details about the scenic spots, which makes my trip so easy and happy. I really highly recommend people to stay in this hotel. It is really fantastic.

This is a fantastic hotel, especially the boss Sean, is really a fantastic and handsome man. I arrived airport at almost 1am, Sean was wating for me in the arrival hall, very patient and kind. He speaks very good English.Their airport pick up is free, no matter how late or how early. I like the breakfast very much, healthy and tasty. also Sean books me the tickets for Tianmen mountain and Fox lady show. The seat for the fox lady show is really good, vip vip vip. I really enjoy the time in Zhangjiajie and the time in Hotel Califormnia.

Great hotel, amazing staff/owner
Great hotel, small but nicely decorated and comfortable room, convenient location (walking distance from bus to national Forrest as well as cable car base station), but the real reason for my 5star recommendation is the amazing staff/owner. I booked a 2 two day trip to Zhangjiajie from Beijing after seeing a few videos about this place. I do not speak Chinese and this was our first trip to China. After seeing in other reviews that the owners were very responsive, I decided to book this place. Within hours of booking, the owner contacted me to confirm free pickup at airport and advised me to get tickets for Tianmen Mountain in advance. He bought the tickets for us, since there is no (easy) way to do this online. When we got there, we were picked up at the airport and despite the late hour, the owner took time to explain to us where to go and how to get there. Without his help, it would have taken us much longer to figure out logistics and we would have seen much less. The lady at the font desk was very sweet and despite not speaking English as well as the hotel owner, she went out of her way to help with whatever we needed and made us feel at home.

We will provide free pick-up service from the airport to our hotel for our guests. There are more scenic spots in Zhangjiajie, We will take the map to tell the guests where each scenic spot is. We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel California. The hotel staff went out of their way to help us out . The gave us a free ride from the airport late at night. Arranged a car to take us to the glass bridge and have us a map to make our way to train station. The hotel is charming and the beds comfortable.

교통이 편리한 곳

We stayed at this place 2 nights and we really enjoyed it. The place is conveniently located near the train station and near the entrance of Tianmen mountain. Our hosts were very kind, helpful and humble. They spoke English well and consistently helped the folks that stayed there whether it be to book a train, a show or other things. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place if you're staying in town.

Well located as the hotel was just diagonally opposite the main bus and train station. In addition, it was also walking distance to one of the main tourist attractions in Zhangjiajie - Tianmen Mountain. I have to commend highly on the friendly and helpful staff who never failed to answer to my needs when approached. Though the room size and the toilet were rather small but they were cosy. I would not hesitate in making a return to the hotel for my next trip to the place.

Really clean, comfortable, central and cute hotel! The beds are big and comfortable and the toilets are clean!! It’s small and very cozy! Short walk to the train station and Tianmen mountain. Very close to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Perfekte Lage, sehr hilfsbereites Personal
Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen: 5min zu Fuss bis zum Bahnhof /Busbahnhof, 10min bis zur Seilbahn auf den Tianmen Mountain. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber, mit TV und Klimaanlage. Sophia, die Besitzerin, spricht sehr gut Englisch und hat mir super Tipps gegeben für meine Ausflüge zum Tianmen Mountain und Zhangjiajie National Park. Sie hat für mich auch einen Fahrer für einen Transfer nach Furong Ancient Town organsiert, was super geklappt hat. Auch die anderen Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem kann ich das Hotel California zu 100% empfehlen.
