Très bon accueil et service, mais la décoration des chambres est à revoir, car ni d’origine, ni raccord avec ce qu’on attend aujourd’hui, et pas en lien avec le prix de la nuit

Un grand merci pour la gentillesse et la générosité du personnel de l'hotel . Nous avons été surclassé dans une magnifique suite! C'était magique! Le Buffet était délicieux avec un énorme choix. Nous en garderons un excellent souvenir . Nous le recommandons vivement. L'histoire de cet hôtel mérite qu'on y séjourne !

The hotel is beautiful and located in the middle of the village. But what makes this hotel so amazing is the staff. People are super friendly and attentive. The front desk staff, Mariana, Iliana, and George were wonderful. They go above and beyond to take care of you. I would definitely stay here again.

Charming Swiss hotel in the heart of Zermatt. Friendly staff. Didn’t dine in restaurant but the bar was cozy and fun. Breakfast was included and more than needed.

Stay at the zermatterhof across the street
Booked an edelweiss room, got ‘upgraded’ to a room with a view of the street and a lot of late night noise. The front desk clerk was extremely rude. The street noise is significant and not what I booked. Frankly, it was a really disappointing hotel.

We enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay. The staff were friendly and informative and the facilities were excellent. We used the spa in the nearby sister hotel free of charge. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Top notch!
I really enjoyed my stay at Monte Rosa. The oldest hotel in town is still one of the best. Very friendly and professional staff with great concierge. Helder at reception has great knowledge of Zermatt and recommended nice restaurants. Very helpful and friendly staff. I got to speak my own language a lot as most of the staff speak Portuguese. The rooms are classic style, with a large bathroom. One of the things that worries me in every hotel is the bedding, but here this is very very comfortable indeed. Like sleeping on a cloud, soft and cosy. The bar has a lovely atmosphere and the restaurant next door offers good upmarket food. I will return and definitely recommend.
