This is the Tahoe vacation rental of your dreams! A picturesque, 4-bedroom hillside home with scenic views of the lake located in the prestigious Skyland neighborhood, and it can all be yours for your upcoming getaway. This quiet neighborhood on the southeast shore of the lake in Nevada is an enviable location for locals and visitors alike, designed around the natural and rugged landscape of the area. Walk down to the private sandy beach, ideal for swimming, picnicking, and launching of small craft such as kayaks and canoes. Adjacent forested trails and beaches will lead you to the popular Zephyr Cove Resort, where you can enjoy beach volleyball, dining, boating, and winter outdoor recreation. A few minutes further south are all the major casinos, more dining options, ice skating, and the Gondola transporting you to the top of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The Stagecoach Lodge and ski lift, 15 minutes away, will take winter enthusiasts into the heart of the Heavenly Ski Resort. We also can’t forget to mention the surrounding world-class golf courses, where the golfers among you can work on their swing in the fresh mountain air. With so much to do and see in the greater Tahoe area, every minute will be filled with excitement!
At the home, even more amenities await, inviting fun for all ages at every turn. Beginning with the outdoors, the warmer months (June-September only) will surely be spent in and around the spacious inground pool with shallow and deeper ends – a rarity in Tahoe! In any season, the hot tub will provide relaxing comfort where you can soak all your cares away after long days exploring. Two large decks are the perfect place to catch some rays, dine al fresco, whip up a delicious barbeque meal, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery with a casual drink in hand.
Heading indoors to the main living area, the wall-to-wall windows illuminate the space in natural light, where you’ll find ample sofa and armchair seating and a smart TV for creating the perfect ambiance for a night streaming your favorite movies. Wander into the open and airy kitchen, fully equipped with all major appliances plus drip and Keurig coffee makers, a blender, pressure cooker, and all the cookware and dining ware needed for the convenience of making meals at home. Steps away, enjoy your fare at the chic dining room table with seating for 6, a place also suitable for a family game night. Work up an appetite and drum up some competition in the game room outfitted with pool table, cornhole, giant tic-tac-toe, and comfortable sofa. Just off of this area is a quiet sitting room that can double as an office, with smart TV and a workspace with desk and chair should you need to catch up on some emails.
HOME SPECIFIC NOTES - please ready before booking! - The pool is NOT open during the Winter. It is only open from June - September and it’s availability is entirely weather dependant. The pool is Winterized around October first and can sometimes turn green during the Winter which is entirely normal. Please keep children and pets out of the area unless highly supervised. - The living room gas fireplace is NOT OPERATIONAL and locked off due to a safety concern. Apologies in advance. - The front stairs leading down to the front door get very slippery during the Winter so make sure everyone in your party is wearing snow boots at all times and walks very carefully. Walk like you are stepping out onto an ice rink. - This home comfortably sleeps 8 guests between 4 private bedrooms. - Bedroom #1 is the master bedroom, inclusive of king size bed, smart TV, deck access, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom with a spacious dual vanity and gorgeous glass walk-in shower. - Bedrooms #2 thru #4 all include a comfortable queen size bed and smart TV. - The home also includes 2 additional full guest bathrooms – the first with a single vanity and shower/tub combo and the second with a unique wood and stone vanity and spacious glass walk-in shower.
PET FEE There is a $35/day pet fee per dog. 2 dogs max. Please contact as after you book to pay this fee. Thank you!
PET RULES 1. 2 Dogs max - unless otherwise approved. 2. Must pick up all poop or there may be a clean up charge. 3. Do not leave pet unattended unless in a crate (this is when damage happens). 4. Keep dogs leashed while on walks in the neighborhood. 5. Keep pets off furniture and bedding or there may be a pet hair removal charge. 6. Please do your best to wipe your pets paws when they come inside to avoid carpet stains. **You are responsible for any and all pet related damage including carpet cleans and door scratch repair.
TAHOE RENTAL ORDINANCE The following laws were set forth by the county and apply to every home in Tahoe. They were put in place to keep Lake Tahoe an enjoyable and safe place to visit for years to come! :) 1. The hot tub cannot be used after 10pm (if this home has one) 2. 9pm - 8am is the county quiet time for all rentals. 3. Trash cannot be left outside and must go into the bear box. 4. We cannot host extra people or allow parties. 5. We cannot accomodate extra cars, parking on the street or dirt. PLEASE NOTE: Neighbors may alert the police who will issue fines to guests found to be in violation. In order to protect this owner’s permit, we reserve the right to ask guests to leave if this happens.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFO - QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD: In Tahoe it’s so quiet at night that you could hear a pin drop! As a result, we can only host quieter groups that will abide by all of the county laws. Our guests are normally fine as long as they head inside or to the casinos after 10pm. Appreciate your understanding! - KEEP TAHOE BLUE: Please help us keep Tahoe a natural wonder by appropriately disposing of trash when visiting our beaches and trails. If you pack it in, please pack it out. - REVIEWS: We kindly ask for understanding and compassion when sharing feedback about this home, just as we strive to approach responding to reviews with empathy. We genuinely value your input and appreciate constructive feedback that can help us enhance our offerings. - TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend that all of our lovely guests purchase travel insurance as we normally do not refund for Covid, smoke, fires, weather, snow storms, road closures, etc. - WINTER TRAVEL ADVISORY: After the historic Winter of 2023, we recommend 4WD vehicles with snow tires, tire chains and experience driving in the snow. Emphasis on snow tires. Tahoe roads are icy and power outages are common. Please always wear snow boots and walk with care on icy pathways. - BBQ/DECKS IN WINTER: Due to snow levels and freezing temps, BBQs are not serviced and decks are not shovelled during the Winter but if you can dig it out and there is propane - feel free to use! - LATE CHECK OUT: Please let us know 24 hours prior to check out, if you wish to request a late check out. First hour is free then $25/hour after that, not to exceed 1pm. Please note our cleaners sometimes travel for up to 1 hour to clean this home so we ask that you please respect the 10am check out time. - NO AC: Like most homes in Tahoe, there is no AC but we do provide plenty of fans. - STARTING SUPPLIES: We provide a starting set of supplies which includes 1 roll of paper towels, 1-2 rolls of TP per bathroom, etc. Depending on your parties usage, you may need more. Please plan to bring more or if you run out, text our local team. t - HIGH FIRE RISK: Lake Tahoe is a high-risk fire area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, smoking/improper disposal of cigarette butts and charcoal bbq’s are prohibited. - BLACK BEARS: Black bears inhabit Lake Tahoe and are attracted to food and trash. Always lock your car doors, roll up windows and view from afar. Please do not feed our bears. - TOWELS: We supply one bath towel, one wash cloth per occupant and then one hand towel per bathroom. - SECURITY: Most of our homes have exterior-only security cameras and noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure we are in compliance with the county ordinance but we take our guests privacy VERY seriously. There is never indoor cameras. Most owners only look to see bears and snow levels at their homes :) - MOUNTAIN CRITTERS: It’s not uncommon at any home in Tahoe to find little mountain mice, spiders, spider webs, ants, mosquitos, etc. Our homes have on-going extermination services but despite our best efforts, these little critters might make their way inside. If found it doesn’t mean a home is dirty, let us know and we will do our best to mitigate such findings.
