Outstandingly staff and facility! Excellent breakfast selections. I would recommend this location to friends traveling through the area.

Everything about my stay was first rate. Hot coffee always available, but regular and extra strong. Finally somebody gets that dark roast does not mean stronger coffee. Free fresh ice tea at front desk, clean work out facility with modern equipment. Bags of free breakfast to go at front desk. really nice. Stay here!

Not Happy

Even though my room was prepaid, $50 was put on my charge card and remained a few days. I should have been told beforehand that this was a practice. I was told they needed my card number in case I did something to the room, not that they automatically hold $50. Since they do this to thousands of people every day.... they must make a profit off of the interest by holding this money.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review the Hampton Inn Zanesville. I apologize my front desk staff didn't do a better job of explaining authorization charges and that you didn't see the sign at check in. While we do authorize your card for incidentals, this is merely a hold of funds and not an actual charge. We don't actually get paid this money by your bank. It is simply put aside to keep it from being used in case it is needed. As soon as you check out, the authorization is released and it is up to your bank to make the funds available to you again. I will be sure it is addressed with my team to prevent confusion to future guests. I hope that we will have another chance to host you the next time you are in the area. Sincerely, Martha T. NEVER STAY HERE!!!!! Beware!

Terrible experience! I was charged for the room twice. Once through hotels.com and once on the card I used for incidentals. They still haven't refunded the money as of 4 days after visit even though they said they would immediately. The manager is too incompetent to fix it and or return calls. The lady at the check in desk is rude and horrible at her job. The hot tub has been out of order for 6 months. Rooms are small and noisy. Sleep in your car before you stay in this corrupt craphole.
