EVERYTHING AND MORE!
Our stay was amazing!!! The host was always in communication and very helpful with directions and checking in. The place was homey, super clean, and the extra touches such as fresh flowers made it so much more lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend over any hotel or other stays in York!!!

Wonderful time in York
I can’t say enough about our VRBO in York and its owner. From the moment that Liz met us outside of the apartment till the end of our stay, it was perfect. The apartment beautiful, showers great, decor amazing, well- stocked kitchen and the most ideal location for exploring York. We highly recommend this rental.

Stunning city centre apartment
We have just spent a wonderful weekend in this fabulous apartment. It outperforms on every level; luxurious furnishings, spotlessly clean, very well equipped, detailed instructions for everything and a superb location. Excellent communication with the property manager. Cannot give it anything less that 5* across the board. You simply could not find better.

liz was there to show us all we needed to know about the property - the apartment is lovely warm cosy and everything you could possibly need - the location is great once we got our bearings - near markets shops bars restaurants all within walking distance - train station about 10 minutes walk. just great had a lovely weekend away and would definitely stay here again. thank you liz

Beautiful apartment in an excellent central position in the City.
A modern and well equipped apartment in a fantastic position in the city of York. This immaculate apartment is on the 3rd floor of a converted warehouse. A lift takes the strain of getting you to the top floor. Sleeps 2 to 4 people very comfortably and is lavishly furnished and is equipped for all possible requirements!

Awesome apartment and host!
This was a lovely apartment to stay in. Great location, clean, well maintained and decorated. Bedding, mattresses and towels were perfect. Liz made us feel very welcome, leaving us a bottle of Prosecco and some breakfast items. It was almost like staying in a B&B. She was very helpful during our stay and beforehand. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a 2-15 min walk. Views from the apartment were nice and the neighborhood was very quiet. I would highly recommend and stay here again!

Loved this apartment. It is CLEAN and VERY spacious. The location is perfect for visiting this adorable village of York, UK. The owner was very informative and lots of voluntary suggestions. We arrived to fresh cut flowers, raisin toast with jam, coffee and FRESH milk. Even champagne? Such nice hospitality. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had every amenity. We would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Apartment In The Center of York
We've just returned from a week in the UK, and our stay in York was definitely a highlight! The apartment was fantastic, and perfectly located to access all that York had to offer. And, all of the special touches that Elizabeth provided made it all the more special. We truly felt like we were a guest in someone's home - fresh flowers in all the rooms, a frig full of tasty local food, wonderful sheets, etc.. We're a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 teens. The teenagers really appreciated the loft, and spent their time up there watching TV and doing whatever it is teens do on their phones all the time! It gave them their own place, away from the adults. I highly recommend this apartment if you're visiting York - a wonderful stay in a perfect location. Thank you Elizabeth for helping to make our stay in York so special!

Couldn’t have asked for more. Very clean and extremely comfortable. So easy to walk out the door and be in the heart of shops restaurants and historic settings. Bright, cheerful, and very quiet- for a good nights sleep. Would certainly stay there again and highly recommend it

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this updated sunny apartment! It was a short walk to all the attractions, shops and restaurants! The home was beautifully furnished and the car park very close by. The home was spotless and very well maintained and the owners were very attentive and kind. We will definitely be back again!

Lovely apartment in the heart of York. Easy access to the sites of York.
Very clean, well appointed apartment. Liz and her daughter were helpful as we arrived on the day of York Proms and the city was hopping. Very clear instructions were left for us. Very safe. The apartment was comfortable and clean. Convenient to all the sites of York. Had a fantastic time. Would stay there again.

Liz was a great host. The apartment was clean, spacious for 5 people, well furnished and supplied. The location could not be better. Easy walk to all York attractions, restaurants and pubs. Recommend this place very highly. Secure building with an elevator. Try Lucky Days for breakfast and The Mason Arms for Sunday roast. Very good food and friendly staff.

Perfect location. All amenities were there with some very thoughtful additions.
If you are visiting York this makes for an ideal location- right in the heart of the old city. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you might require. Liz was most helpful prior and during our stay. This apartment works well for 3 people.

Would not hesitate to recommend this property. Lovely apartment and a very warm welcome from the owner who has clearly put a lot of thought into making your stay as comfortable as possible. Situated as it is, the apartment is in a great location. Will definitely being going back to York and this is where we will stay.

Well equipped and furnished apartment right in the centre of York perfect for our weekend stay
The property is excellently situated in the centre of the city giving instant access into the heart of York, and just a short step from the station. A lovely modern property that was both warm and quiet that was well stocked with supplies which was a pleasant surprise after a long train journey. Liz met us at the property to show us around as well as having provided a wealth of information and recommendations perfect for people who do not know the city well. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the city.

This is a fabulous apartment, right in the city centre (but not noisy!). The apartment is beautifully furnished, has everything you would need and more .... and has incredibly comfy beds. Liz, the owner adds amazing personal touches that really made our stay. Can't recommend it highly enough.

The apartment was very clean and tidy with everything fully equipped for our stay away in York. Elizabeth met us at the apartment as showed us the ropes. Wonderful hideaway in the middle of York.
We so enjoyed staying at this lovely apartment overlooking the rooftops of York's historic centre. The flat is incredibly well supplied and full of personal touches that make it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bedrooms quiet with super comfortable beds and the main area perfect for relaxing in. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect home from home
We stayed in this lovely apartment for the weekend as we were attending our niece's wedding. We arrived later than expected but Liz was very accommodating and came to meet us at the car park where she gave us a parking permit for the weekend, only a 5 min walk from the apartment. She is one of those thoughtful property owners who sees the value in providing a welcome pack which was just lovely and we appreciated it very much. The apartment is perfectly located in the city's shopping area and yet is unbelievably peaceful, being tucked out of the way. I cannot fault the apartment. Myself and my family loved it. A positive and comfortable space filled with beautiful things and with everything you will need. We didn't spend as much time in it as we would like but would definitely enjoy it more if we visit York again. Thank you Liz. It was perfect for us.

The perfect spot
We stayed here for three nights in February 2017, while in York for a family wedding. There were five of us - two couples, who used the two bedrooms, and one single woman, who used the sofa bed in the mezzanine. It was perfect for us. We loved the central location. The apartment was immaculate and the owner had left us pastries and Prosecco, a small bottle of milk, butter, and several other goodies. They also left a binder full of the most detailed possible set of instructions for anything in the apartment we might have wanted to use, along with a box full of maps and brochures for interesting attractions in York. The beds were comfortable, the towels fluffy, and the decor lovely and fun. The owner was very responsive to any questions and requests. The building was quiet and felt quite secure. I don't know of any reason that we might end up back in York, but if we ever did, I would love to stay here again.

location, location, location
This apartment was as described. It is clean, well lit, stylish with many amenities--including a washer/dryer. The parking pass that came with the apt was very useful for us. Liz is a very hospitable host who arranged to meet us in the parking area and direct us--over York's very labyrinthine streets back to her flat. Niceties include very comfortable sheets and beds; coffee, tea and milk in the fridge; a welcoming bottle of prosecco and a lovely cake too. As stated, it is very centrally located--we didn't need the car until we left York. I would recommend this flat without reservation. PS--reserve a table at the tiny Hairy Fig for lunch--you won't be disappointed!

Although we were in the centre of town the apartment was very quiet. It was a perfect base for exploring the city. We fully enjoyed our stay in York.

Excellent location and high quality flat.
The flat was delightful and superbly situated in the very heart of olde York but within easy walking distance from the train station and car park. It had plenty of space and absolutely everything we needed to make for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Plenty of eating houses adjacent and lots of sites and museums to cater for every interest. An absolute gem! We would certainly return and recommend to friends.

Had the most wonderful stay in York and the icing on the cake was the apartment we stayed in.
The photographs do not do justice to the beautiful apartment. Very clean, comfortable and everything you could possibly need. The location is fantastic right in the centre of town. We had a birthday cake, chocolates and prosecco left for John and some fridge and breakfast products to start of our stay. The cupboards are full of items that you can use with a fab coffee machine too. I could go on all day talking about the apartment but think I may stop now in case it gets to many bookings and we don't get to go back next year 😊
