Le personnel a l’accueil me dit que réserver un hôtel avec Expédia est la pire chose à faire lorsque je leur ai dit qu’ils m’ont donné une chambre petite et très bruyante à côté de l’escalier principal de l’hôtel. Lors de notre arrivée la personne qui nous a accueilli nous a regardé de travers en nous disant « vous avez réservé avec Expédia »!

Très décevant pour le prix
Je regrette de ne pas avoir réservé en dehors du parc. Cet établissement est une usine, piège à touristes. Hors de prix, plus de 400€ pour une chambre ne donnant même pas sur le parc, pas insonorisée et moins bien ou spacieuse que dans un Super 8 ou autre chaine. Pas de wifi ni de TV. Pas de micro ondes ni frigo. Malgré une réservation au restaurant, très cher aussi , on nous fait poireauter debout pendant 15 mn pour avoir une table, manque d'organisation ! Autant de bruit que dans un hall de gare! Repas vraiment pas à la hauteur, le Chef français, soi disant, nous a fait un cassoulet vraiment pas bon, un William Saurin aurait été 10 fois supérieur! Les petits pois à la française pas bons non plus 2 morceaux de tofu et une cuillère à soupe de petits pois à moitié écrasés. Très mal mangé ! On a vraiment eu l'impression de jeter notre argent.

Tres bien place, cet hotel permet de rayonner dans le parc mais tres mauvais rapport qualite prix. A plus de 300 USD la nuit, nous sommes loges 5 nuits dans un bungalow sans service de menage. Pourtant 5 nuits ne revient pas moins cher que 5 X 1 nuit cest ce que jai du expliquer a la reception pour avoir une prestation de menage (la veille du depart). + pas de WIFI du tout + repas reserve au resto a 20h30 nous navons pas ete servis avant 21h50 et repas tres cher (21 USD pour 5 raviolis farcis aux petits pois).

L etat de la cabine etait lamentable : cheveux sur le sol, graviers, poussiere... nous avons du balayer en arrivant Pas de 4G dans le parc et l hotel ne propose pas de wifi, sauf à aller dans le hall d'un autre établissement avec wifi mais qui n'a que peu de debit A la remise des cles, nous avions signalé le probleme de propreté.... même pas un mot d'excuse ( nous avions lintre des photos) Alez aileurs...

Lake Yellowstone hotel is a historic property. It is beautiful inside and out. The lobby is a great place for relaxing, meeting new friends or just reading. I would not waste the money on the restaurant, dinner was average and expensive. Breakfast brunch looked and tasted like frozen food just warmed up. Note. There is no wifi or cell service at the hotel, so bring games and good books

Nice to be in the park. The cabins are old and very basic. The door has no weather stripping, so cold air comes right in. Very expensive. Was expecting more for the price we paid. The beds are comfy and can walk over to the Lodge. Their breakfast was great. The back door of the Lodge was open part way. Unable to be closed. Not good for energy efficiency. Gift shop very nice. Good location for sightseeing beautiful Yellowstone Park.

Nice view of the lake and wild life. Hotel had a elkay water filler, that was nice. Staff not the friendliest. Food options very limited, the restaurant is overcrowded and the deli under staffed for the traffic and always running out of food options. We stayed 4 nights and never had our cabin cleaned or garbage picked up, we ran out of klenex and clean towels, floors were dirty with tracking snow and pebbles from the side walks that are not paved. There were no bear proof garbage bins outdoor to at least take our own garbage, our neighbor cabin just left the garbage outside their cabin and animals got into it. Door needs a new weather strip, had gaps and was letting spiders in.

When checking in we were told no rooms were available even though we had reserved rooms through Expedia. We were given a room in one of the cabins away from the hotel.

The staff was great, but we waited hours to check in because our cabi was not cleaned. They decided to give us anothr cabin. All good Until we got in there. Maybe i missed the part on the ad where it said there is no phone, TV or internet. The the toilet bacjed up. Had to drive to he office to ask for help. She said she was sending us someoe right away. We got back to find it still backed up but we now had a plunger. Didnt work. Decided enough is enough packed and left the next day. They couldn't give us a refund because we went thru Expedia. Found a nice place outside the park and spent the rest of the week there

The main building has a beautiful lake view. Cabins are quiet. Restaurant is good but not big enough to accommodate all guests in a single evening. Food was good.

The Yellowstone Hotel is an old classic hotel- we stayed in the cabins. It was a bit rustic but that is what we expected. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful dinner in the hotel and a great tour by the concierge. We would stay there again.

The experience was fantastic in all areas except electronic and cell phone communications. The hotel does not have wifi and there are very few areas in the park with cell tower connections. The Business center is available with computers to use but many simple and sometimes important matters cannot be handled with any convenience.

For the most part, the staff was great. Most of them were brand new, with a few returning from the previous season, but they all tried to be helpful. We arrived the 5th day they were open. The rooms wasn't stocked with things like coffee and accessories. No hair dryer, which is important when the weather is cold. There was a scrap of paper that I watched lay on the floor for the entire duration of our visit. The kitchen smells emanated throughout the hotel on the dinning room end: even up into the 2nd floor. The food was bland, overcooked, and dry in the restaurant. Our reservations were late, and we were told it was because they like to keep the tables full during the main dining time, so if you have an odd number in your party, like for instance 3, expect to be pushed to the end of the dinner service. actually, you are better off heading out the west gate and going to the burger joint or the taco truck; both of which have very good food. The Deli was the best bet for edible food in the hotel, but it's not a true deli. No WIFI, so expect to chat in the lounge, read a book, or sleep. Workaholics will be disappointed and may require a sedative. The exhaust from the kitchen ran all night with a dull drone vibrating the room, and the beds were tilted; I suppose so you could roll out of bed and be up at a moment's notice. We affectionally referred to our wing as "Flatulence Hall" because every step resulted in a creaking of the floor boards that sounded like a fart.

Generell war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war etwas klein, aber sauber und die Lage direkt am See ist natürlich super. Das Frühstück ist mittelmäßig und obwohl es ein Buffet gibt, ziemlich chaotisch. Ich würde beim nächsten Mal a la carte bestellen, dann bekommt man alles frisch.

I understand it is a seasonal hotel but further training on the staff is needed. It appeared more like a rag tag bunch of kids were serving you. Some were great, but most weren’t. Food options were limited and not good. Coffee is terrible, yet local brands exist that are great. If you go in early May, bring a cooler. It’s nice that few people are around, but I anticipated better food and service. Also, no WiFi which is hard because if you want to plan the day or check weather you need the internet and they don’t have it and there isn’t cell service. Rooms were nice and clean. Shower was not good. Views are beautiful! It’s a nice location because you’re central to everything in the park.

This hotel is on the National Historic Register, original part built in 1890 sited on the shore of Yellowstone Lake. No TV, No Wifi, no A/C, cell service shows 4G but no internet. Old school architecture, clean, staff friendly. Reservations can be spendy. Restaurant is a bit $$$ and definitely requires a reservation to ensure you get served, but it is inside the park and the next nearest restaurant is at old faithful. Sunroom is next to restaurant and bar, very nice to sip a drink and watch sunset. My visit was second week of May.

This property is certainly beautiful and more secluded—less busy than the areas around Mammoth Hot Springs and Old Faithful. The lobby area is large—much seating to view the lake through the large windows. Friendly servers come around to ask if you ‘d like a drink from the bar. There was a pianist playing music in the evening. A pleasant, restful night before heading out for a day of seeing the sights in the park.

Overpriced. Late at making our room available. We arrived and you could not even get a cup of coffee. Bar closed. Deli closed. Staff suggested we go to next town for anything. At these prices you should get a free drink or at least have some sort of snacks food or drinks available. No wifi. No TV. It is 2024. I could not even get a copy of my receipt. Unfortunate

Very unique and friendly hotel! Concierge was new though so not the most helpful, however still able to provide basic maps and dining questions. Would have loved to have WiFi while at the hotel to be able to check in with my kids back home after long days in the park with no service.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed my stay at this historic hotel. My room was large and clean. The bathroom had marble countertops and basket weaved marble floors. Very quiet. I had low expectations for the dining room too after all the bad reviews but my husband and I really enjoyed our dinner. He had the NY Step and I had roasted chicken. It was a delight to meet all the young people working there for the summer.

Expensive nightly rate $450 per night. The property doesn't have Internet. Extremely noisy neighbor upstairs. Minimal dining options. Will not stay here again. One redeeming value is the location.
