« My wife and I (and our dog) stayed at the Arrington Retreat in April 2024. This was our second time at this property. It has a great fenced yard, both front and back that our dog really enjoyed. The kitchen is well stocked and the family room is a comfortable place to gather. We were helping a very ill relative and we needed to extend our stay a couple of times. The property manager was very helpful in extending our stay. This house worked well for our visit. »

« I stayed here for my sister’s wine tasting bachelorette party and we had the best time. The property is so beautiful and has so many great amenities. Unfortunately it was raining during our stay so we couldn’t enjoy all that the property had to offer, but we loved the comfy beds, spacious rooms and bathrooms, great location by lots of good wineries, and beautiful grounds surrounding the house. We really couldn’t have asked for a better stay. »

« This was our second stay, and it was wonderful again. The beds are comfortable, the kitchenette and bathroom are well-stocked, and the furnishings are cosy and nicely styled. The above-garage apartment is very clean and felt very private. It's a very peaceful location, but near to wineries, the city of Newberg, and George Fox University (our destination). The scenery out every window is beautifully pastoral, and we loved watching the silly goats in the back during both of our stays. »

Kitchen - there was little glassware and what was there was a mishmash Downstairs bathroom - no hand towels available. Bedrooms - though they appeared new, the beds and bedding were marginal. « This was an amazing retreat for the weekend. Hospitality was off the charts and the breakfast was thoughtful and delicious. The property is breathtaking and close to everything we needed. « We just needed a place to stay while going out on adventures each day. This place was perfect. Small, clean, just what we needed. The only negative thing would be the parking. There were several times where someone else parked in our designated parking spot in the driveway, but that was it. Definitely worth the stay! »
