Items to be rectified
Hotel safe was not working when I checked in. This should be have been checked before a hotel guest checks in. Spent an hour waiting for this to be resolved. There should be a shuttle bus to the Wuxi Train Station.

It was a nice property, close to the main tourist attractions. Getting taxis sometimes weren’t that convenient as they don’t drive inside unless the taxi was dropping someone off. It’s very clean and well maintained building. I booked a room for 3 people but they kept only providing 2 sets of towels, so there were a lot of phone calls for additional towels.

The property is beautiful! Conveniently located close to Yuantouzhu (go to Fairy Island!). And only about 5 miles from the city center. The rooms are awesome, with great decoration and comforts! The staff when we arrived at the hotel was super helpful and all fluent in English. The second day, however, only one staff member spoke English and it was limited. The Golden Keys concierge made no attempt to understand my request to store our luggage for the day, even when I used a translation app. Finally when we came to collect our luggage, he didn’t even understand his own notes on the luggage ticket and had to search for a missing item for several minutes. I would stay again as it is extremely comfortable and beautiful, but I expect more from a global brand in terms of service. Even if you don’t speak English, there should be more effort to gain understanding of the guests’ needs

Stylish hotel, friendly staff
New and stylish hotel with a little bit Chinese elements in the decoration. Room is sizable, big enough for 3 of us with a kid. All staff including front desk, concierge, room service, and the gym center are very friendly and helpful. We arrived quite late in the evening, thanks for the Chinese restaurant still accept our late arrival and last ordering. They serves very nice Chinese food and the breakfast buffet is also not bad. Swimming pool is unexpectedly big with a hot jacuzzi spa inside. There is a robot providing water or other essentials delivery service. Kids just love it! The location of the hotel is great! Quietly located beside the Tai Lake and very convenient to the sightseeing spots nearby. Just one thing wanna mentions is that there was some unpleasant smell in our toilet room. I think the hotel needs to do something on its ventilation. Overall, we enjoy our stay very much.

very nice hotel. treated differently due to booking through expedia. I was actually asked into the executive lounge by the staff and than asked to leave because I booked through Expedia. I don't know what to say except that the staff was inexperienced and it's a new hotel.
