Place was well kept and the room was nice - however i got a nosebleed in the middle of the night and they kept my deposit over the messy pillowcase. Will not be staying here again. They got my $200 over something another hotel of higher reviews would’ve just replaced the pillow for.

We really appreciate our room and the staff was really kind. He gave us a welcome gift of small pastries and water bottles. The beds were comfy and the place was rather quiet despite it being full.

Last minute stay due to storm we were called into work to get the trees off the powerlines. This hotel was available. A lot of other places were booked, so we were very thankful that they were open and had room.

Our stay was ok. Overall room was clean and bed comfortable. However, the air freshener they use is overwhelmingly strong and off putting. Also there are no hooks in bathroom to hang towels or clothes and only 2 in the room. Seems like a cheap and easy fix to improve stay.

swimming pool out of service!! Stale cereal at "continental" breakfast!! No towel racks or hooks whatsoever in the bathroom!! the AC had to be turned down to 62 degrees for it to get even remotely cool! Several electrical outlets not functioning!

Overnight stay
The staff,possibly owners, were very helpful as I was traveling alone. The room was clean and quiet setting. It is an older hotel, though did not stink of any pungent scents from smoking or vaping. Which was so delightful. There is a building on the hill with rooms. That is where my room was. Worked fine for me, though possibly not for everyone, since amenities were in lower building. Looked to have a nice pool. Breakfast could have been a little more protein, though enough to get my day started. Easy checkout . The little town of Wurtsboro looked very cute, unfortunately I did not have time to explore.

My wife and I are frequent travelers. This particular stay was due to a family member being in the hospital locally. We are also members of expedia.com. We have stayed at several other properties in this area. But have never been as disappointed as we were with the days inn Wyndham. Although the price was right, this hotel was all wrong. When we went to check in, there was no one at the front desk, the floors were extremely sticky, and the vestibule to enter into the lobby, smelled strongly of incense and marijuana. attendant attempted to check us in only to tell us that our credit card was declined which we could not understand. It turned out that this property charges additional deposits that were not mentioned on the Expedia website. Due to our family member being in the hospital, we were short on cash and didn’t have our back up card with us to be able to make their deposit. I tried to explain to the guest service attendant that nowhere on Expedia’s website did it explain that the Days Inn would require an additional deposit to check in. We explained our situation to the guest service attendant in hopes that due to us using Expedia frequently they would waive the deposit. The guest service attendant was very abrupt and rude and told us there was nothing she could do. We asked that she speak with the manager to which their reply was also no. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service or concern for their guests at this location.

The room was clean and smelled clean, which is always a #1 for me. It was also quiet, which can be hard to find at hotels sometimes. And the beds were comfy. I didn't have any concerns about the area safety-wise, but there's a state police station right down the road as well. I'd stay here again if I'm ever in the area.

Always pleased
Always have a positive experience at this hotel. Its always very clean the check in was quick and hassel free. I stay in the area every few months and this is always my hotel of choice.

This was a good stay. From the road, looked a bit sketchy. But it was simple and clean! Daily housekeeping. No amenities. Town is close but no name brand restaurants, drive 15 minutes on the highway to everything. Clean!!!! Good for an overnight stop.
