« This small stylish apartment is almost unbeatably located and is comfortably appointed. We would have rated it 5 stars overall except for some mildly irritating features such as the bathroom lights operating on a movement detector switch. No one enjoys the lights going off while you’re having a shower at night. The hand basin was also too small. Storage in the kitchenette was also somewhat chaotic. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and these were minor matters. »

The inside of the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner, Chris, keeps in touch to make sure you are happy with everything. « It says in the information that essentials are provided yet there is no hand soap to be found in the property, no tea towel or way of drying the pots that were told to wash and no hand towels. All things that would be classed as pretty essential in a self catering property. Now onto the other things. « Off the main road which was good. We thought it was a nice, pleasant place to stay within a short drive of Chester. I would recommend this place to friends visiting the area. We were just a couple that stayed for a week whilst building work was completed on our house and found it competitively priced so if you are a group of 4 then it would represent even better value.
