basic amenities were subpar

Les - : Electrical outlets and breakfast options.
Situation : A couple of nearby restaurants. Close to the highway.
Check-in was fast. First step into my room was weird as every single light and TV was on, every door and drawer were open wide, I found it very unwelcoming. No continental breakfast, however, they did have a small cafe for food. Coffee was from Starbucks so that was good. I am usually happy to pay extra for food because it is usually better quality than continental breakfasts, but that was not the case here. The breakfast sandwiches were premade and microwaved upon order. So not only do you get microwaved eggs for $6 but they are screaming hot from the microwave so they are unedible for at least 5 minutes. They also will sell you a bowl of cold cereal and milk for $3-$4! That is usually free at the hotels with crumby continental breakfasts. Room was very dry due to heat of furnace. The blowdryer was loud and shaky, I thought it might explode, all of the electrical outlets seemed unsafe. When I plugged my appliances in (curling iron, blowdryer, clothes iron) it would hang there halfway and during use it fell right out of the socket many times! That was annoying. Even happened to my phone charger next to the bed. Overall, it is fine if all you are looking for is a place to lay your head for 8 hours during business travel, but if you are a breakfast person on a budget I would stay somewhere that gives free coffee, fruit, juice and cereal as the quality is the same.

Holiday family visit

Les + : Comfortable king size bed and pillows
Les - : staff should know how to make a bed!
Situation : Close to rt. 9 & 495.
Bed comfortable-nice selection of pillows-mold on bathroom ceiling/no fan-requested sleep sofa be made up/didn't know if sheets were used or not/desk clerk came up & tried to change the sheets, but it was obvious he didn't know how to make a bed/top sheet, mattress pad, then blanket, left fitted sheet on the floor to go get pillows. In the end, I made up the bed when all I wanted to do was climb into bed. In the morning, the first cup of coffee was cold and second was full of coffee grounds. Sleep and coffee are most important to me. very unhappy!

It was a nice hotel except I was promised room with jacuzzi in there and when for their the 3 rooms were already taken.

Good for a quick stop

Quick overnight on the way to Cape Cod. Restaurants were sparse. Definitely a business persons hotel. Has bar with short order food very $$$$. Staff was good.

Friendly staff! Musty Marriott

The staffs are friendly. But i would never stay there again. Room smells so bad. Had the guys there to spray the room freshener the first day.. Fell sick and Had to change my room the next day. The new room had that musty smell too. Had to keep the windows opened to sleep. Also the white sheets and towels are not white.

A few glitches . . .

I came with my son for a week of soccer camp. Our stay was okay. the rooms were kept clean, breakfast was not bad sand reception was attentive. Not much to do at the hotel: no pool and no real bar either. it was more like a counter/bar food combination deal. A few issues: ice- machine in our floor (2nd) out of service. Washer machine out of service ( apparently had been out for at least ten days). I needed to wash my son's uniform daily as the camp only provided us with one set. Reception offered to have housekeeping wash it, but it wouldn't be ready in time, so . . .very inconvenient. Lastly, housekeeping, often didn't clean our room to very late. One day we arrived from camp and early dinner at around 5:30 pm and the room wasn't cleaned. What???! I complained to front desk and they from that point it was clean by at least by 3 pm. They did a good job cleaning and always had extra towels and toiletries. Nothing horrible, but those little issues should not have occurred at almost $200.00 per night, and it was pretty inconvenient not to have a washer available. Flat screen sort of small ( I guess we are a little spoiled).
