« Great place »

« Clean, well decorated, well stocked, beds are doubles, two upstairs bedrooms have AC units in windows and it was a little warmer upstairs but we brought some fans to keep it cool. Very nice dock and paddles board additions were nice. Cute towns nearby. We were only there two nights and wish we could have stayed more. »

« Was clean and decorated nice…..thanks »

« This was a great stay for me and my family. My wife and kids really loved it. They had plenty of entertainment at the house while I was out at work and also downtown Huntley was just a quarter block away so they were able to enjoy a safe, clean and well kept Historic city. The house was very nice itself a very lovely stay overall, and we appreciate the flexibility of our hosts and how prompt they responded to general queries. We would’ve loved to stay longer, but the place was booked up for our...

« The house accommodated 14 of us quitecomfortably. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were great additions to our stay. Our host was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Would definitely return and highly recommend this house. »

« Repeat guest! We will be looking for this property again if we stay in the same area. »

« Cute little place in a convenient location for a fair price. »

« Really the only thing about this home is you won’t get check instructions until day of, but it’s truly a beautiful home and the view of the lake is absolutely gorgeous! »

« The basecamp was a charming old house in a great location to get together with a group of friends for the night. We could have slept 9 quite comfortably (doubled up on full and larger beds) and had ample space to spread out. Some seating had been added since recent reviews, which was great! There was an 8 person table that accommodated us perfectly. The kitchen was stocked with the basics, and there were towels and washcloths available. The bathrooms were large, but could have been cleaner. We...

« Beautifully remodeled home! The little extras like coffee and creamer and bottled water and cookies were an unexpected. »

« Nice property 15-20 min away from downtown lake geneva. »

« House was clean. Nice layout. Woodwork is very charming. Fenced in backyard was a lovely place to toss around a frisbee and kick a soccer ball. House was close to a grocery store and other amenities. Kitchen was stocked with everything one needs. Recommend others staying here if you need to be in the area. »

« Place was immaculate. Location can’t get much better. Price seemed higher than comparable places, but we could get just 2 nights. Others had 3 night minimums. 9:00 check out was also earlier than other places. Most are at least 10:00. We had a good experience and enjoyed appetizers on the back deck. Just FYI - back outer door sticks are the bottom and is difficult to open. Door handle to bathroom fell off and it would be nice to have some coffee available. Thank you. »

« Suits the needs of people for a Lake Geneva weekend. »

« Uniquely, beautiful location. Communication was friendly and prompt. The rental was clean and welcoming. »

« This is a very nice location away from the normal heavy traffic in Lake Geneva. Megan was very responsive to any questions we had and provided some great suggestions for restaurants that addressed some dietary restrictions. There are a couple of nice places to eat close to the property and it is an easy drive to any of the activities nearby. »
