The staff were really helpful and friendly. My family and I really appreciated the free 24/7 shuttle service that picked us up from the airport, took us to any restaurant of our choosing and even offered pick up service from the restaurant.
However, the cleanliness of the hotel wasnât as friendly. Our room was "ready" for check in but it was not detailed cleaned from previous guests. My family and I run a cleaning business so we are well aware of what to look for especially in hotels. The microwave still had food, the bathroom walls have not been wiped, any minor details were not completed and checked. The lobby isn't regularly cleaned especially after the morning breakfast buffet.
My sister and I wanted to enjoy the pool, however when we entered, immediately we noticed there was dirt floating in the pool. Large, long cotton was floating in it. The colour of the water was dark, murky. The hot tub looked better but still dirty. The pool room itself was not clean either. Loose hairs everywhere, nothing was scrubbed. I went to the front desk and they assured me that they do a "daily" regular maintenance. An maintenance staff came by to clean the dirt but didnât properly clean the pool. They just grabbed the net, tossed the dirt outside and left. Didnât even check the chemicals.
Another problem was the breakfast buffet. There was only one staff member between cleaning and food preparation. Waking up to an already dirty buffet was not on my itinerary.
