Charmant bungalow des années 1920 dans le quartier Cargo ! Acceptant les chiens & proche du centre de Wilmington

  • A Little History, a Lot of Charm, and Room for the Dog!

Welcome to our sweet 1920s Wilmington bungalow! She’s been around for more than a century, and we think she’s aged rather beautifully.

We’ve given this charming old girl a little love, a fresh wardrobe, and plenty of modern comforts while keeping the character that makes a historic home so special. Think cozy furnishings, thoughtful details, comfortable beds, and all the little touches that make you want to kick off your shoes and stay awhile.

Whether you’re here for a romantic weekend, a visit with family, a little retail therapy, or simply an excuse to get away from your everyday routine, we’d love for you to make yourself at home.

Location, Location… and Really Good Food!

One of our favorite things about Nun Street is how close it is to so much of what makes Wilmington wonderful.

The Cargo District is just minutes away, with its wonderfully eclectic collection of restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, boutiques, and creative little businesses. It’s a terrific place to wander, grab a bite, and discover something you didn’t know you needed.

Historic Downtown Wilmington is also just a short drive away. Stroll along the Riverwalk, explore the shops and galleries, enjoy a fabulous meal, or settle in with a cocktail and watch the world go by. Wilmington has a way of turning an afternoon outing into an entire evening.

Love the beach? Wrightsville Beach and our other beautiful area beaches are an easy drive away. Go get your toes sandy, enjoy a little sunshine, and come home to a comfortable bed without having to shake sand out of absolutely everything.

And if shopping is your preferred form of cardio, you’ll find plenty of opportunities for that, too!

Come On In and Get Comfortable

Inside, we’ve created a space that feels more like visiting a favorite friend’s home than checking into a rental.

You’ll find inviting living spaces, comfortable bedrooms with fresh linens, a well-equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and plenty of thoughtful extras.

Enjoy your morning coffee, curl up with a good book, catch up on your favorite shows, or make yourself a lovely dinner. We won’t judge if dinner turns out to be takeout and a glass of wine. You’re on vacation, after all.

We’ve tried to think of the little things that make traveling easier, from convenient charging stations to cozy throws and everyday essentials.

    Yes, Your Dog Is Invited!

We happen to believe that some of the very best traveling companions have four legs and absolutely no respect for personal space.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Nun Street, and we’ve included a few extras just for them, including dog bowls, a complimentary leash for use during your stay, and waste bags.

If your furry friend believes the sofa is actually their sofa, we simply ask that you use the provided furniture cover. The velvet upholstery is lovely, but it’s not quite as enthusiastic about dog hair as we are.

And please clean up after your pup so the next four-legged guest can enjoy the space just as much.

    A Little Bit of Everything

Wilmington really does have something for everyone.

Spend the morning exploring historic neighborhoods, the afternoon browsing local shops, and the evening enjoying live music or a fabulous meal. Take a beach day, visit a museum, discover a new brewery, or do absolutely nothing at all.

We’re big believers that doing nothing is a perfectly respectable vacation activity.

And when the day’s adventures are over, your little bungalow will be waiting to welcome you home.

    Old House, Happy Heart

There’s something special about a home that’s been standing since the 1920s. It has a little history, a little personality, and the kind of character you just can’t manufacture.

We’ve put a lot of love into refreshing this house, choosing furnishings, adding artwork, and making sure it feels comfortable and welcoming. Our hope is that you’ll notice those little touches and feel right at home from the moment you walk through the door.

We’re delighted to share our little piece of Wilmington with you, whether you’re visiting for two nights or settling in for a longer stay.

Come for the charm, stay for the comfort, and don’t forget the dog.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Nun Street!
