Turn your stay into a colorful experience in this cozy downtown Wilmington home walking distance to dining, entertainment, and the Historic District. We wouldn't typically encourage a sugar rush, but how about a Starburst (or two) on us!? This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is sure to please from your first step in the door.

Licorice Lagoon- LIVING
This space was created for the guest experience! The living room and kitchen provide an open area for guests to relax and enjoy one another's company. With a couch suitable for lounging, watching your favorite Netflix series, or winning a game of Candy Land, you'll find a sense of fulfillment here.

Cupcake Commons- KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully stocked to provide all you need for cooking, snacking, and making your morning cup of coffee. We provide a drip coffee maker, Keurig, and French Press along with complimentary K-cups and various ground coffee flavors for you to enjoy.

Lollipop Woods- BEDROOM
Just off the living room towards the front of the home is a hallway leading to two bright, and fun-colored bedrooms. Are you more into the royal purples and lavish plum? Then the bedroom to the left is for you! This bedroom has a Queen size bed and closet with hangers for use during your stay.

Gummy Hills- BEDROOM
Love the exciting teals and oranges!? The bedroom to the right of the hallway is furnished just right! This bedroom has a Queen size bed and closet with hangers for use during your stay.

Ice Palace- BATHROOM
Between the bedrooms in the hallway is a bathroom with tub/shower combo. This bathroom provides Cotton Balls, Plackers, Q-tips, and a Hair Dryer along with Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash.

Candy Castle- PRIMARY SUITE
Off the back of the kitchen in the rear of the home is the primary suite that meets you with cheerful yellows. This room has a King size bed and floor standing mirror. The attached bathroom provides a luxe walk-in shower and mid-size vanity. The closet in the bathroom is used for owner's supplies and is not accessible for guest use. This bathroom provides Cotton Balls, Plackers, Q-tips, and a Hair Dryer along with Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash.

LAUNDRY
Around the corner from the kitchen is a laundry room with washer/dryer along with detergent pods, dryer sheets, a steamer, and extra hangers for hang-drying clothes if needed.

EXTERIOR
This home is the first floor of a Duplex/Townhome. There is another unit upstairs that guests will not have access to during the stay. This home does not have a backyard or rear entrance. You will use the front door to access the home along with your unique door code.

Keyless Entry-
Guests will be provided a unique door code for entry. This code will be used on the keypad providing access to the front door.

Parking-
Being that the home is located in the downtown Wilmington area, parking for the home is not set as designated spaces, however there is no shortage of street parking located out front of the home and it is free to park. We recommend a maximum of 2-3 cars to ensure enough room for all.
If spaces out front of the home are not available, parking across the street or on a nearby corner is allowed! We ask that you park mindfully and follow guidelines of any signage or marked spaces.

Location is one of the best qualities of this home! While not located in a neighborhood, this home is very nearby to local dining, entertainment, and shops, even within walking distance! If you have a specific event coming up and would like to know the distance, send us a message and we will be happy to help with providing this information.

There are many attractions and restaurants within walking distance of this home, but we recommend a car to explore all Wilmington, NC has to offer.

Cute Decor

The host are very responsive to questions or concerns. Loved the fun and bright decor through out the unit. No designated parking but that was never an issue. Plenty of street parking. Close to a few good food options. Palate (a wine place) was not too far of a walk from the unit along with a few other food/drink options. Unit Kitchen was stocked with cups, plates, etc.

Nice place to stay

Candy Land was as advertised. Cute, clean and comfortable. Good location, but maybe not as walkable as I had hoped. Had an issue with the washing machine not draining well, so it left the clothes really wet and had to run an extra spin and drain cycle, but it wasn't a huge deal. Everything else was good!

It was awful. Not clean. Not kid friendly for sure . Wires hanging. Hole recently patched in the living room. When i called the owners brought cleaning supplies to me because i wouldn't let strangers into the house with a 2 year old there and i have cancer as well and cant have the germs.

Great Property In A Great Location

We were in Wilmington for a long weekend. I knew about the arts district but never stayed there. It’s a great area to stay! Lot’s of small, local neighborhood bars/restaurants.The house was very clean and reflected exactly what was in the pictures online. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay.

Clean, cute, good location

The house is clean and decorated nicely. The space is the bottom floor of a 2-story house. The street and houses on it are cute. We're a family of 5, so it was nice to have the back bedroom with ensuite for the parents and the shared bathroom for the kids. The house is stocked with coffee, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash - and candy. Street parking was easy. There's a cafe right around the corner. We walked to downtown and along the Riverwalk and felt safe. Great stay!

Walking distance to town, cute place

Overall it was very pleasant and met our needs for a girls weekend to celebrate two 60 year old sister in laws with their 80 year old mother. We walked into town during the day and chilled at the rental during the night. Nicely decorated and had everything you needed. Communication by the owner was excellent. The only complaint is that it's the downstairs unit with another unit above it. Unfortunately they were doing construction work on the upper unit and started really early. Someone in our party came from an hour earlier time zone so it woke her up. We were gone most of the day so it didn't bother us for long. If the upper unit was rented, it might be quite loud since we heard every step made by the workers.

Visit Candyland

This a cute property. It has a great layout - 3 bedrooms; 2 baths (one ensuite). Kitchen is well equipped. Nice laundry room if you need to wash anything. Little front porch nice to sit on in the morning or evening. Walkable to several restaurants, coffee shops and downtown.

Comfortable and stylish

Nearly everything about our stay was perfect. The home was clean and well-appointed, my husband and two teenage daughters were very comfortable. The communication with Luke was nearly perfect. The rain cloud that affected our trip was that the TV would not operate. We thought it may have been the batteries in the remote, but when replacement batteries weren't delivered until late in the afternoon of our stay (and the batteries did not fix the issue), we never heard back with any other attempt to resolve. I expect this was just a fluke -- and it wouldn't dissuade me from recommending this location -- but it was disappointing nonetheless.
