Nice weekend trip.

We have stayed the same weekend in April for two consecutive years. Each time, the hosting has been friendly, the rooms have been beautifully fragranced, and the breakfast company has been lovely.

Pennsylvanian Aloha!

This was a great place to spend the night. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the warm hospitality. The welcoming offer of food and drink upon arrival, the attention to detail in the decorations and comforts of the room, the clean and very comfortable bed, a peaceful nights sleep, and the friendly conversations at breakfast were much appreciated. We stayed in the Renoir room. We live in Hawaii, and found this place filled with aloha! If you're traveling in the area (or can make it part of your journey), don't miss this great little B&B.

Susquehanna University Event

The home was beautiful. So many interesting things to look at as well as artwork and decor. Owners were friendly and accomadating. Breakfast was definitly a treat and you meet other guests for very interesting conversations. I would recommend highly to stay here if possible. Very convenient to downtown shops and restaurants also.

great stay in Selinsgrove

This was our second stay at Potteiger House, and was just as wonderful as the first! We were in town for a wedding--convenient location, wonderful hosts, fantastic breakfast (loved the emphasis on local--fruit, bacon, and fabulous corn pancakes!). A real gem. :)

Comfortable stay at Potteiger House

Potteiger House is a comfortable Bed and Breakfast. The owners were welcoming and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. The room was spacious room and the bathroom well appointed.

aroma and soap

Although the inn was truly interesting there were two aspects of our stay that need to be shared. If you have any sensitivity to fragrances, this is not a place for you. My husband and I actually do not have any issues with scents, but found the candle/other aromas of the inn really overpowering. Also, on a totally different note, there was no shampoo. We had about 8 bars of general soap. It's been so long since we stayed somewhere where little shampoos were not standard issue.

Lovely!

Stayed just one night at the Potteiger house--kids were away for the weekend and we decided to take a quick trip. Inn owners Leo and Karen are wonderful--friendly but not intrusive. So many wonderful things to see in the decor of the house--and many fabulous examples of Leo's photography. Delicious breakfast as well--wished we could have stayed longer. If you go, you must visit the Selin's Grove Brewery--fantastic beer, comfortable atmosphere, great food! Will look forward to staying at the Potteiger House again soon.
