Easy parking, clean and well maintained. I liked the text message option for communicating with front desk. Negatives - very slow check in process. Also negative about advertising this as a 4 bedroom townhouse - it really was 2 separate 2-bedroom suites. I felt like our family was not staying together. I will not come back to stay with a family here.

The check in process was long and very, very slow. Did not find out until we got checked in that the indoor pool was closed. They did have the outside pool open early but it was too cold to use. We were upgrade to a two bedroom unit which was nice. While everything was clean, handles on the appliances were loose and kitchen drawers didn’t work. Things just needed to be replaced due to wear But overall I would stay there again due to the convenience and cleanliness

Even though we checked in during a very busy weekend, the staff at the front desk were friendly, efficient, and had us moving right along. I was impressed. Looking at the line of guests waiting ahead of us, I expected a nightmare wait time. It was less than 20 minutes. Our room was very clean. The two bedroom, two bath suite is spacious and comfortable. There are TVs in both bedrooms and living room. We were able to easily connect to the Wi-Fi on our phones, Kindles, and Fire Sticks. The bedrooms have ceiling fans, which are a huge plus for us. - this is notable because I recently stayed in two different resorts in Williamsburg and neither had ceiling fans in any rooms. It makes such a difference. I'd absolutely recommend Powhatan Plantation.

Loved that the rooms were spacious and well equipped, especially that they upgraded us to a two room suite from a one for our party of 3 so everyone got a comfy bed! Also, there was a nice unexpected sun room in addition to the living area. Staff were friendly, grounds were pretty, good eating options nearby, felt safe walking around at night, and special bonus, we were able to re charge our kia ev6 there overnight

This is a nice, secure, and well maintained resort type area. We stayed for two nights while we spent three days exploring Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Jamestown. All of these areas were within about a 15 minute scenic drive from the resort. The room(s) were clean and either newly constructed or newly renovated. We were upgraded from a 1 bedroom upstairs suite to a two bedroom downstairs suite which was basically like a two bedroom two bath condominium. These condominium like rooms can be some distance away from the restaurant, where we had breakfast one morning and it was great, to the indoor pool, exercise facility, and coffee house which I heard some guests complaining about being closed. There was some pressure from the concierge to attend what sounded like a timeshare sales pitch.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and convenient. However I have to give it four stars instead of five simply because of the checking in process. Even with four agents working, I waited 45 minutes to check in as others did too. It would seem like a lot of the information asked for by the agents could have been done earlier online. It was a busy weekend but it simply took too long

Beautiful resort!! I will definitely come again ! So peaceful and ducks everywhere. Staff very attentive and professional. Wooded are so lots of bugs and spiders, I suggest you bring some Off or bug repellent. The suites are spacious and very clean. Everything you need in the kitchen is there, just bring the food to cook! Met alot of friendly people at the outdoor pool. I definitely will recommend to friends, lots of things to do and explore

The property is safe to walk around. The rooms and common areas are clean. While we didn't use the amenities on this short stay, when we do the courts are clean and the pool is clean. The property is well maintained. Our room had apparently recently been remodeled and was in excellent condition. The resort is situated in such away that both Busch Gardens and the historic district of Williamsburg and Jamestown are easily reached. The bike paths that connect to the capital bike trail make riding safe. This is a good location to stay to bike ride and kayak, while the kids are at Busch Gardens with the grandkids.

This hotel/resort is amazing! Beautiful grounds to walk through, pretty lakes, lots of geese and turtles to watch. If it weren’t so hot this week we would have taken more advantage of all the activities. Having a full kitchen and two bathrooms was fantastic!

The property itself was great. Beautiful grounds and very clean. Front desk staff were very nice as well. I was very disappointed with a couple of things. 1) Was unaware of additional resort fees 2) Eager “time share “ sales people very loud behind you at check in. Had no idea it was timeshare that approached me twice about “ extending my stay” , if I’d set in on sales pitch…if I missed the fact it was a timeshare my apologies, but I never saw it in the listing on your website. I was also informed only at time to check out it was up to me to take out garbage, was dishes and put linens in tub, “ to make it quicker “ for staff to turn rooms. You think with the extra resort fees and what you pay for the facility that should’ve been included. If full disclosure had of been there , would have been a five..

Absolutely beautiful property in Williamsburg Virginia. Very high-end and well maintained property . I’m traveling by myself, but this would be an awesome place for a family to stay I am sure. You are very close to many things here in Williamsburg, to include all the historical sites, and of course Bush gardens Amusement Park which would be great for the family. I would definitely highly recommend this location to anyone.

The setting for this stay is beautiful. If we had stayed longer, I’m sure we would have appreciated the full kitchen and laundry. Appreciated the two bathrooms very much. However, checking in was an excruciating process. It took 20 minutes for the only person at the desk to type in all the information I’d already provided via the Expedia reservation. Then, after we provided everything but blood samples and social security numbers, she informed us that “the restaurant closes in half an hour so you better hurry.” Ridiculous.

It was a beautiful location, with lots of activities for the whole family. The only problem I had was that you have an unexpected $200 deposit when you get to the location.
