« A characterful converted cow shed with roof beams, but decorated in a modern way with all you need, and a free jug of milk.The bed was comfortable, and there was a wet room shower.I could not see any way to open a window, which I would have liked, and the Wifi only worked in half the room, which I mentioned to the owner.We were welcomed and again had goodbye said to us as we left, which was friendly.We prefer a separate bed room as one of us gets up very early, but it was OK for one night.A...

« What a fantastic place to stay. Beautifully designed and in the most gorgeous of settings. Very, very clean & everything we needed was provided. Kitchen/dining full of the latest tech & appliances. Comy sofa & great tv in lounge area. The bathroom & bedroom upstairs were so lovely. The communication with Susan & being shown around on check-in by Gaia was superb. « Nicely put together house. Handy for Oakham town centre, shops, pubs etc. 20 mins to Burghley House. Comfy beds. However, please do provide guests with a bit more info about what’s what in the house…A long mirror in the double room and a loo brush in the bathroom would be useful additions »
