« Surprisingly comfortable bed slept soundly could not hear any noise from the highway. Good water pressure in the shower… No frills affordable perfect for a hiker in need of the nights rest dog Friendly. He slept well too. »

« This is the second time our group has stayed at this property. It's beautifully located on the lake and within walking distance to the pretty town. It's comfortable, very clean and well equipped. There was a problem with a toilet tank (no one's fault) but the manager responded very quickly and had a plumber on site within a couple of hours and the toilet repaired. Much appreciated on a Saturday morning! Thank you for another pleasant stay in Wiarton. »

« Was not able to check in and the funds were charged on my credit card, the host acted like he was trying to help me by calling Expedia and said they were going to call me back, never received a call back from Expedia and had to call them Back after my 2 night stay. Very disappointed with Expedia, it was a terrible communication they could have tried harder to contact me so that I could resolve the issue quicker. »

« A fabulous stay at The Sands »

« The accommodation was spacious and immaculate with a very well equipped kitchen and just a short walk to the waterfront, which was great for dog walks. We have no hesitation to make our recommendation. »
