This is a nice place to stay if you are visiting Whyalla or transiting up north, down south or further west. The place is well maintained and the staff ready to help; just ask and they will guide you through. Whyalla had it';s hottest day while I visited. So it was baking hot outside but the cabins provided the chill that I needed. Thanks to the team here. I have all but praise to them.

My family siblings have stayed here quite a few times over the last 3 years during my brother's illness. His time is coming to an end, but we have found the best accommodation for our needs and there was plenty of room in the dining area. I would love a recliner for my back, but we were too tired to stay up and watch the telly, haha. Thanks for the short notice accommodation availability, really appreciated that. It was a great overnight stay, even though it's on a free way and we stayed in cabin 1 you couldnt hear the cars or trucks passing, the only thing I found that it needed was mirrors in the bedrooms 3 adults trying to get ready with one bathroom mirror wasn't fun

Location was convenient for us. The cabin was well laid out and comfortable. It was well equipped for self-catering. What let the property down is the cleaning especially in areas such as light switches, oven knobs, remote control, glasses and behind night stands.

Cabin was beautiful and clean, plenty of room, but the beds are very hard and uncomfortable Parking was very difficult, hard to get in and out when other cars were there

The cabin was surprisingly very clean as Whyalla is known for its iron ore dust..all ammenities were great… Air/con was icy cold.. shower very clean..cooking appliances all in working order.. all in all a great cheap place to stay

The cabin was ideal for 2 people, although we dined at the adjacent hotel during our stay (which had excellent reasonably priced meals and excellent service) the cabin's kitchen was really good with stove and oven, microwave and full-size fridge and good selection of utensils and crockery. The park was very quiet and peaceful and easy to access from the highway and reasonably spacious.The only possible problem is the steps to access cabins may be difficult for older or persons with a disability but there may be units to cater for this we didn't take notice as it did not affect us. All in all I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a place to stay which is only minutes drive to most of Whyalla and easy distance for trips to other locations within the area.
