Home is conveniently situated in close proximity to Big Mountain, downtown Whitefish and a short walk to City Beach. Property is new-ish with contemporary furnishings. Hot tub was clean and fully functional. Couple of small details that would enhance the experience for future guests: A few of the bathroom fixtures are installed upside down, causing toilet paper to slide off the holders. A minor inconvenience but easily fixable. The master bedroom does not have a proper door - it’s a sliding door that doesn’t actually “close” so there’s always an inch or so gap around the sliding door. As a result the room doesn’t feel completely private. Prior guests have left dirty hand marks around most of the white room doors themselves (as in they didn’t use the door handles but instead grabbed the doors to open and close them). Not a big deal, but does leave the feeling that the place could be a tad cleaner. (Overall the home is nice and clean!) The queen size beds are comfy but my teenage daughter said the bunk bed she slept in was not very comfortable (thin mattress, creaky bed frame). Again, overall positive experience with this property; The above noted items are picky details that once addressed would make this a 5 star rental in my book!

We’ve stayed at a few diff spots in Whitefish at this point, but the Dakota property was by far the best! Location was prime time, and the property was super clean with good tech and a nice layout. Hope future renters have as much fun as we did!

Our team had a competition at WMR and this is a perfect location and the right amount of space for our large group. The kitchen was filled with everything you need and we all had a place to spread out to after a long day of skiing! I would stay here again!

This was a nice, new, clean and cozy vacation spot. The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook and feed everyone. There was plenty of dishes, glasses and utensils. The property also had lots of cozy blankets, well-stocked towels and linens, and comfortable beds. The location was great, too. It was far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown Whitefish but close enough to be able to walk there on the various walking paths that were just a few hundred feet from the condo. We also enjoyed the beauty of the wooded backyard and had the occasion to see some deer while taking a hot tub. All in all, it was an excellent and well-appointed property. We have already booked our stay for next year!

Overall the house was as wonderful, very clean, the kitchen not only had everything you need but everything was also of very good quality, the nice quality theme was throughout the whole house, linens, blankets etc. Well done! We were there primarily to ski and intended to use the Snow bus ultimately felt it was too much work, don't believe you can walk to a stop (could be wrong) so we just drove to the mountain each day which was no problem. Wish the garage was heated, had a bench, boot driers, and ski racks etc. so you could leave gear in the garage. The hot water heater went out while we were there, things happen, and it is how you respond, and the property manager responded quickly and got it fixed! Overall great house and great experience! Thank you!

Excellent location. The best equipped property I have every stayed in. Enjoyed the Deer roaming through the neighborhood. One minor issue: The air intake grates in the dining room had a lot of debris on them. Easily cleaned. With that much debris It might want to check the filters on the HVAC unit..

Our group loved staying at Dakota Haven! The kitchen is fabulous and is stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils needed to cook for a family of 8. We loved sitting out back in the hot tub watching the deer! The house is in a great location . It is in walking distance to downtown Whitefish and also an easy drive into Glacier for gorgeous scenery and fabulous hikes! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a fabulous time staying in the house. Everything was clean! Open, spacious kitchen well stocked with everything one would need in a kitchen made the vacation enjoyable. Walking distance to the city beach was wonderful and access to so many activities close by including golfing, water sports and all! We would definitely rent again here in the future!
