Fantastic accommodation just a short drive from Whitby. Rooms were comfortable, modern and clean. Food and drink was lovely too. Carpark at the pub too.

The property has been significantly refurbished in the last few years in a style that is comforting, friendly and very appealing and the owners should complemented on their ideas for the property. There is nothing we would make any negative comments regarding the Wilson Arms.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was incredible,cooked with fine quality ingredients.No need for a lunch after eating the very generous portions. Restaurent food was superb.Again quality and cooked to perfection. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended,for anyone with their own transport, as in a quiet area outside Whitby.

The location, the rooms, the food and the staff were all excellent. The only minor thing we encountered was the bathroom door swings open and bangs off the bottom of the bed and a noisy shower. HOWEVER, overall our stay was excellent and will definitely be visiting again. Many thanks to the staff. Really welcoming and friendly.

Great place, the owner was excellent gave us phone numbers for a taxi as we arrived early and meeting family in Whitby, it is a short taxi drive to Whitby, cost was around £12. They gave us the key to the room so we could check in later as we was out all day. Room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was excellent. We did not get to use the pub, but looked really nice.

How to give bad service!
To be honest, we didn’t receive a ‘Great to see you again’ Breakfast was served by an unfriendly lady, a robot would have been friendlier. My friends order included beans which was not requested. When asked for more coffee, it was not ‘yes of course’ but she seemed surprised that we asked and said ‘I will be with you in a moment’ as she was clearing the table next to us.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The rooms were tastefully decorated, beds comfortable, en-suite facilities. I enjoyed going downstairs at night to the pub and having a pint. Breakfast was excellent. Overall I was more than happy and would recommend The Wilson Arms to anybody. The pub is in a picturesque setting

Ours was a last minute booking but we were so glad you had we found the Wilson arms. All at the Wilson arms were most welcoming and joyous. Everything about the place was superb. The food offering was excellent and the breakfast was really lovely and plenty of it. The room we stayed in was so comfortable and it was so quiet without any noise interference at all. We will definitely be going back and cannot recommend it enough, the Sunday lunch was so nice and the bar offering was good too

Wonderful little bed and breakfast close to Whitby. The room was very comfortable with all needed amenities, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. As mentioned by others, the full English breakfast was exceptional.

A Jewel in the village
What a find! I was on my way home after a disastrous Whitby Steam event when decided to stay over at the Wilson Arms. This family ran Pud is a jewel in the village. Excellent accommodation, a great menu (the breakfast is amazing!) Ample parking and a nice friendly atmosphere. Would certainly book again. Many thanks

1 night stay here in room 6, the pub itself was really nice, the room was lovely, really nicely decorated, great view from the window and all in all very comfortable. One small thing could perhaps do with a blackout layer to the curtains as it is very bright very early. The Breakfast was also really tasty. I would definitely stay here again.
