We had a fantastic stay at Daveâs house in North Turks. The home was clean, modern, and very comfortableâperfect for a relaxing getaway. John, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The private pool was a great touch, and the beach just steps from the backyard was absolutely stunning. It felt like our own private slice of paradiseâfar from the crowded tourist spots and ideal for families looking for peace and quiet.Highly recommend this property, and weâre already hoping to return soon!
The house was beautiful and had all the amenities you could possibly need. The beach area was beautiful and our family enjoyed swimming snorkeling kayaking and relaxing in the hammocks. The pool was amazing. The road to get to the house was challenging and rugged. We didnât find many selections of restaurants close by on the island. We did enjoy Barracuda on the Beach at the Pelican âResortâ. We would not recommend Chef Ben - he seemed unorganized and overpriced. It did not compare with Private Chef dinners at other islands.
Upon arrival, We were unable to check in at the scheduled time of 4:00 PM and were told we had to wait outside until 4:45 PM. Housekeepers were still working on the house. After a long travel day, this was a bit of an inconvenience. Especially with two babies. - The water supply was inconsistent throughout our time at the property, making it difficult to shower and use the bathrooms as needed. Lost water 5 times during the week. Sometimes, up to a couple hours before pump was reset. Probably the biggest inconvenience. - We also encountered bugs in the beds, bathrooms, and kitchen cabinets, which was both unpleasant and concerning.- Additionally, the WiFi went out early in our stay and was never able to be restored, which affected both our ability to work remotely and stay in touch with family. Which also caused issues with baby monitors. - The ice maker in the refrigerator does not work and the freezer is not freezing properly. We spent 50 on Ice cream that all melted. - While the oven works, it makes a loud noise during the process. This was not an issue for us, but maybe something to look into. The home was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool and beach. The privacy and seclusion was very nice. Unfortunately with all the other issues, we would not return to the property.
This is our second time staying at Grace on the Bay and it was just as amazing as the first time- it holds such a special place in our heart. The house is well appointed and the location is amazing, private and beautiful beach- water crystal clear! The outside area by the pool is so amazing, our favorite part! We canât wait to book another trip back!
Wow! No words to describe everything about this winter escape from cold northern Iowa in February! This is one of the GREATEST family trips we have taken. We the grandparents took our 2 kids, spouses and 5 grandchildren on this priceless adventure in paradise. The property is absolutely stunning and better than advertised. Awakening every morning to coffee on the patio (evenings with a glass of wine) overlooking the pool, beach and ocean was heavenly. Daily walks along one of the most beautiful beaches we have visited was a favorite. We chose this location to get away from all the crowded, busy areas most locations experience. This is a beautiful home and very well cared for. The home has every amenity you need during your stay! WOWZA the back area is a total paradise the most beautiful views. The pool is BIG and the water is warm⊠we all enjoyed the pool area day and night. The grandkids ages 4 to 12 said it was their favorite place to be. The sand on the beach is like powder sugar, lots of sand castles were created.Dave was responsive, knowledgeable and respectful from the moment I contacted him about his property and our return home. Going from the airport, grocery store (ordered our groceries couple days before our arrival so they were packaged and ready for pickup), ferry dock to North Caicos was easy with zero issues. Thank you Dave, Mary, Delano and Regina for making this a great experience! We are already planing our next visit for a longer stay.
We were at Daveâs house in North Caicos two weeks ago and had an amazing time! There were eight of us, four adults and four kids under 8. The house was perfect for our group, with extra bedrooms to spare. After being in Provo for three nights, North Caicos was exactly what we were looking for, and we couldnât have been happier with Daveâs property. We enjoyed the fire pit a couple of nights, and the pool and beach were absolutely perfect. The water was so calm and the beach is safe and extremely private. You should not hesitate booking this property. We plan to go back as soon as possible.
Very remote and quiet stay in paradise. Well kept with plenty of amenities! Just beware, with calm waters the sand flees do thrive and theyll be happy to see you. Also note that the property is parked between the ocean and a lagoon, so the main road does flood a foot or more meaning you may have to park a few minutes walk from the house and take a trail created by a local, one which is not paved for luggage hauling. Both of these are minor in contrast to the otherwise wonderful remote beach but worth noting so you can prepare for a stress free vacation.
Our group was there to celebrate a friend's 30th birthday, and we had an amazing time!!! The host was VERY communicative, and assisted us with details about getting to the island, transport from the ferry to the house, and general information. We were nervous about booking when we found out about the ferry, but DO NOT LET THIS HOLD YOU BACK!!!! It is an amazing island and home!! Regina with the concierge service was excellent as well! Use Mac's taxi service on North Caicos; he is an amazing human!!!One thing to know: no-see-ums (like gnats) are DEFINITELY an issue. What you need to bring is baby oil (bug spray does not work). So bring baby oil and use it when you go outdoors. Also, bring some anti-itch salve if you do get some bites. Otherwise, AMAZING SPOT AND GORGEOUS VIEWS!!!!
We stayed at Grace on the Bay with our 3 adult kids, their spouses, and 2 grandkids (3 months and 2 yrs). We have vacationed over the years at many beaches on the east coast-New Jersey, OBX, etc., but after coming here, we never ever want to go any where else. North Caicos is an adventure! We paddleboarded, kayaked, snorkeled (you MUST bring snorkeling masks!)went on long walks on the secluded beach(the shells are AMAZING here!), sat around the fire pit every night and played Headbanz...If you are an active family that loves adventure and prefers vacations away from crowds/resorts/amusement parks- then this is for you. We brought all of our own food (our check-in bags were for food, our carry-ons were for clothes) and we did not need to leave the house if we didn't want to. I could go on and on about how meaningful this vacation was for our family. Dave is fantastic, Dominic and Mary were always kind and helpful. Our souls were refreshed at Grace on the bay, and we are already planning a return trip.
Grace on the Bay was exactly as advertised! The beach was unbelievable. You step out your backdoor to a lovely pool that is only steps away from a completely private beach. The water was gorgeous. Property extremely well maintained. Every appliance you could think of needing. A short walk down the beach and we even saw beautiful sting rays swimming near shore. I can't say enough about the property. Dave the owner was terrific - including his team who supported us. The local residents make the experiences wonderful too. Don't miss visiting or getting catering from Miss B! Another don't miss - One stop sport shop and Captain Dee. What a lovely place all around!
If you want a vacation to just relax and enjoy the beach and pool this house is perfect. Tons of room for our family of six. House was very clean and stocked with family games. The pool and the beach were amazing. The beach is literally outside the door. We really enjoyed it. Communication was excellent leading up to our stay as well.
We chose this location to get away from more âtouristyâ areas, which is the opposite of what we usually do. Wasnât 100% sure what we were getting into other than we knew we booked a great looking place with its own beach.
What we got was exactly that and much more! Grace on the Bay was the perfect house, clean and spacious, the pool was perfect. But what made it a paradise was the beach! For 1 week, we had a 2.5 mile beach to ourselves. This was our 10th location around the Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico, and easily the water was the best we've ever seen, and the sand was pristine. This beach was straight out of a Corona commercial.
We hit the recommended spots on North Caicos including Mudjin Harbor and Bambarra Beach, and though they were very nice, nothing compared to what we had in our own backyard for 7 days.
Dealing with Dave was easy, he was extremely helpful in ensuring we got what we needed. The Management staff of Mary, Regina, and Marilyn of Caicos Cactus Management were extremely helpful leading up to the vacation, and even while we were there for random questions. Even though we were alone, having them available at any minute was very comforting to know. Also, we had Delano for transportation when we arrived on Provo and left from Provo, extremely professional and personable...most of all extremely helpful!
Can't say enough, amazing home to stay...book it if looking for serenity to recharge your life!
It's always daunting to pick a random house thousands of miles away, but the owner Dave talked to us before booking and he is such a genuine person we put our trust in him and we are so thankful we did. The house far exceeds any photos, and the location is out of a movie. Endless pure sandy beaches, perfect water with just enough little waves. The house you would think was built in a modern suburb, but somehow they built this gem in a very remote area, so peaceful. Everything functioned very well from the a/c, to the laundry, and wonderful kitchen. The pool is amazing with the little water fall, so delightful. Grilling was an everyday treat. The bedrooms are all spacious, bathrooms, clean, not a cracked piece of paint or a single thing broken throughout the entire property. Extremely well maintained. We were a work group of 8 that wanted peace and quiet. This is a very quiet location, but the younger members did go out to water front bars until the wee hours of the night, but even those were very low populated, so be sure you want a peaceful retreat, which is what we were looking for. Quick tip, if you want to book a fishing trip, go through Dedrick, the owner can provide his info, all the other trips will cost 4 times as much and Dedrick is the most knowledgable fisherman on the island. The owner is a great resource, don't be shy to ask him any questions, he truly loves the property and his guests enjoyable stay is his top priority, amazing host.
house pool and beach were absolutely beautiful exactly as in the pictures service great answered questions within minutes best vacation I have ever had with family and friends great time
Driving into property sets the tone, beautiful home that is well care for. Outside area is stunning. Infinity pool then a short walk past the hammocks to the gazebo then the beach. Soft white sand melting into turquoise water
We had a group of 8 adults and 3 children under 5 and we were all blown away by the property, itâs even more stunning on the inside and outside than in the pictures! We had plenty of space for everyone and we really enjoyed having essentially a private beach to ourselves. The kids got a kick out of having a fresh coconut (you can have one if they fall!) and being able to run between the beach and the pool. We had an incredibly relaxing week, if youâre looking for a quiet place to connect with out the crowds this is the ideal place for family and large group trips.
