The terraced townhouse is accessed via three external steps. Inside, you’ll find a warm and welcoming holiday home with large rooms, high ceilings, and period features. The spacious lounge has a choice of comfortable seating for relaxing on, and the country-cottage kitchen/diner has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. On the way upstairs you’ll find the family bathroom on a half landing, before reaching the three bedrooms on the first floor. The final bedroom is set in the eaves on the second floor, and boasts sea views and an en-suite shower room. For movie nights, head down to the cinema room in the basement, with seating for five and a 3D Blu-ray player. Also in the basement is a record player and a games room with a pool table. Outside, there’s a small, enclosed courtyard with seating.

The property is perfectly placed for enjoying long, lazy beach days. Stroll down to West Cliff Beach to discover a popular, family-friendly beach with soft, golden sand and shallow waters for playing in the sea. For the full seaside experience, why not hire a beach hut for the day? Whitby’s historic harbour is 400 metres away and is a great spot for sampling fresh seafood or picking up some kippers for your supper from the old smokehouse. During summer, boat trips depart from here and you can go searching for whales and dolphins off the coast.
