The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed and large windows that offer stunning views across the open countryside. There is also a double bedroom and a twin room, each with built-in wardrobes for your belongings. The family bathroom on this floor includes both a bath and a separate shower cubicle.

This idyllic retreat is just a two-minute drive from both the bustling centre of town and the beach, while being surrounded by the peaceful countryside where rabbits, deer, and pheasants roam freely. Set within the North York Moors National Park, Ash Cottage is ideally situated for exploring scenic walking trails, including one that passes right by your doorstep.

The Granary Cottages, a row of four charming sandstone barn conversions, are located beside the owner’s farmhouse, perfectly positioned for exploring both coast and country. In nearby Whitby, you can visit the iconic Whitby Abbey, climb the 199 steps for spectacular views, or enjoy a stroll along the pier. For a quieter coastal experience, head to the charming villages of Sandsend, Staithes, Runswick Bay, and Robin Hood’s Bay. Each village offers its unique charm, from Sandsend’s sandy beaches to the historic fishing village of Staithes, while Robin Hood’s Bay enchants visitors with its winding streets and smugglers’ tales.
