Le Chamois 313 - Ski in Ski out, Common Pool, Hot Tub & Gym

Please note that the pool and hot tub area is currently closed for the summer. Specific reopening date is to be confirmed some time late July.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING
This is a family friendly, luxury accommodation requiring respectful behavior.  All group members, except for accompanying family members, must be 30 years old. Quiet hours between 10pm and 8am are enforced.  Behavior negatively impacting the neighborhood will result in fines and/or eviction.

Description
This recently renovated condo with high end  appliances and finishings is all on one level and boasts mountain views. The magnificent Fairmont Chateau Whistler Hotel and its cafe and restaurants is just steps away.
The exterior hallway door opens into the suite and a large entry way area with a bench  and boot dryer with lots of hanging space for coats, pants, helmets and gloves. This area does however open directly into Bedroom 1 so guests staying in Bderoom 2 have to walk through Bedroom 1 to get there. The kitchenette is part of Bedroom 1 with a small bistro table with seating for 2 and is not separated from Bedroom 1. There is not a separate dining area or any kind of living room in this apartment.  The kitchenette is not a full kitchen with an oven but has a large fridge, freezer, convection hot plates and a mid size dishwasher and we provide coffee and tea.

Bedroom 1:   King, full ensuite bathroom.  Bistro table with 2 chairs and kitchenette.
Bedroom 2:  Queen, Twin bunk (bunk bed with Queen on bottom, Twin over top)
Bathroom 2: Hallway full bathroom located between Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2.

Location
This vacation home is on the 3rd floor of Le Chamois on Blackcomb Way. It is at the base of Blackcomb in the Upper Village. It is a 5-minute level walk to Whistler Village.

Ski Access
The Blackcomb Gondola is 30 steps from the back door of Le Chamois. To the right of the gondola is the Magic Chair, a favourite for beginners. To access Whislter Mountain walk 5 minutes to Whistler Village or take the Peak to Peak Gondola from the top.

Secured bike room in underground P level where bikes must be stored. Bring a bike lock.
Complimentary concierge services. We’ll answer questions and manage the details of your Whistler trip: airport transfers, private and group ski & snowboard lessons, lift passes, equipment rentals, activities, heli-skiing, dinner reservations and pre-arrival groceries.

Things to Know
Do not leave skis, poles, snowboards or bikes inside the apartment at any point during your stay.

The condo was excellent. Clean, fully furnished with all amenities. The location is perfect, walkable to Whistler Village, close to restaurants, and ski out to Blackcomb Mountain. I would have rated 5 stars, but the hot tub and pool were unusable for our stay, the front desk wasn’t really helpful, and the gym was very small with minimal equipment.

Beautifully decorated apartment. I appreciated the universal design in the bathroom. There were tons of extra towels and good quality toiletries. There was also a boot dryer! The set up was weird. This is really a one bedroom property with an extra bed in the kitchen. We would have appreciated a proper table (the tiny table only seats two) and a couch, rather than a giant bed that left us nowhere to sit. This also means that the "Master Bedroom" has no door, so there's no privacy. In all, we would probably not stay here again due to the limited kitchen (no oven or proper venting for cooking) and the weird set up.

This place is ideal for easy access to the ski lifts, restaurants, and shops. We loved the service provided by Whistler Wired, and enjoyed our stay in the spacious unit. The only thing I would change is adding a door to the main room/bedroom for privacy. Also, the hot tub was nice but needed some cleaning as some hair clumps were floating on the water surface when we entered. Everything else was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay if you’re planning a ski trip to Whistler. The only negative is the kitchenette is in the main bedroom and there isn’t a real common space, but we knew that when we booked and enjoyed the place. The property manager was extremely responsive.

We loved the ski in, ski out location to Blackcomb and walking distance to Whistler Village. Everyone could go up the mountain on their own schedule. We rented our equipment right downstairs and there were ti s of great places to eat nearby
 and we loved the convenience of making food in our rental too. It was the perfect place to stay for our family snow trip!

This was a wonderful property and perfect for our needs -- a ski weekend with a large family group. The location right at the base Blackcomb could not have been more perfect. The other people in our ski clinic were dying of jealousy that we could just check our equipment and walk right through the door to home. The place was immaculately clean and the layout worked well for our configuration of family members. Lots of bathrooms, two entrances from the hallway. Note that this is not necessarily a place for large home-cooked meals for large groups -- the fridge, dishwasher and oven are very small, more European style, and there is basically a large hotplate rather than a built in range, but we had everything we needed for breakfasts and we really used the unit more for sleeping and relaxing than anything else. Check in and out was great, as was all communication and assistance with rentals, parking, etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

We were really happy at Le Chamois, just steps from the ski hill, best location you could ask for! Mark and his team were really helpful with ski rentals (downstairs) and transportation (from airport) as well as with restaurant suggestions. The apartment was great for our family with 3 bathrooms and a steam shower, lots of room to spread out. The den and kitchen are renovated, kitchen fully equipped. Laundry room on 4th floor.
