« The host was OK, but her communication was very inconsistent. Sometimes she responded straight away, other questions she did not respond, or we had to ask again.For the price we paid, certain basic things were missing that we would expect such as a pair of scissors and a sieve in the kitchen. Other utensils were broken.While the bedrooms were clean, throughout the house there were a lot of marks/damage on the walls, and underneath the couches in the living room was filthy and clearly had not...

« This is one of the best holiday houses that we have stayed at in NZ. So modern and clean and close to the beach. Perfect for our family holiday. »

« Was in industrial area - NOT close to beach or stadium venue, as led to believe. No view. No milk left for teas, coffees. Plug missing in upstairs bathroom. No "human" hosts to welcome guests. Noisy at night if windows open. While it sleeps 6 ok, it was a very small lounge area for 6 adults. 3 had snuffles/hayfever inside unit - maybe not vacuumed??? »

« The property is very new, warm, comfortable and clean. It has everything you need. It was so nice to be able to bring our 2 well behaved dogs. Only thing is our smaller dog possibly could have escaped through a gap where the wooden gate is on the deck. We brought a crate with us and set it up along the gate/deck so it wasnt a problem. I was able to create some yummy meals in the fully equipped kitchen. A lovely place to stay for a winter getaway. »

« Difficult to make contact with host.Access delayed for 1 hour.The whole place was filthy.Windows haven’t been cleaned for a very long time.Glasses and cups/mugs stained and showing fingerprints.Cutlery also.Vinyl floors sticky and unwashed.Entry ranchslider difficult to operate.Carpet appears to not have been cleaned for some time.Toilet didn’t flush properly.Had to pour water into bowl to clear it. »

« Great view and excellent lighting. We had lots of space to enjoy the company of the whole family and cook meals together. The appliances are excellent. Taking a bath outdoors with a glass of wine and the New Zealand birds was a highlight for us. »

« We loved our stay at this home in Waihi Beach and would definitely recommend it to others!! The views were unbeatable, and we really enjoyed the outdoor lounge areas. What a treat to be steps from a basically private beach! We were sad to leave and wish we stayed more than just the one night. »
