We had an amazing time. The house was great. Plenty of room for everyone. The view from the deck was beautiful. We especially love that the deck had a gate on it. It kept the dog from getting out (to chance the squirrels of course). Can't wait for next summer to come back.

Beautiful location, excellent amenities. Protected cove and dedicated slip for small boats, especially our sailboat. There was no steel brush to clean to clean the grill, as we were asked to do. The grill was dirty when we arrived, so there likely has been no equipment to clean the grill for some time. We found a dirty dish and some trash inside a dresser drawer. Housekeeping should check on that. Rental Advisor said they would consult with the owner for permission to bring our dog, but they never got back to us. So we had to leave her home.

The house is very nice and has everything renters could need! The deck has such an awesome view of the lake and is huge and nice! Bedrooms are comfortable, large and nice! Only issue we had pertained to booking dates. I had made a change of the dates about 4 weeks in advance but the property manager did not know I made this change.

Had a great time with friends at the property. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. Close to golf and restaurants where we wanted to meet others. The view of the lake was very beautiful and relaxing. Had plenty of privacy for us and enough bedrooms to accommodate. When we arrived at night, we found our parking was being used up by 4 boat trailers that weren't in our group.

My family and I have been staying at this pet friendly cabin for the past10 yrs and have been coming to this lake going on 15 years now..All the amenities are conveniently nearby. you have a short five minute walk to the local store that has the best fresh daily baked croissant cinnamon rolls as well as chocolate chip and chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies. Our favorite! Also, If you own a boat, you can conveniently gas up at the marina in the same Cove as the cabin.. if you enjoy fishing and want to charter a boat, I highly recommend mike’s Lake Almanor guide service 530-383-7785 Coming here never gets old! My only complaint is our stay goes by way too fast!

The cabin was warm and inviting when we got there. Everything was clean. 3 of the bedrooms have a beautiful view of the lake. We loved spending time on the deck which has a full view of the lake. Our family had a great experience. Thank you!

Great location, close to boat slips, boat rentals, restaurants. Great view from deck. Comfortable bedrooms and beds. Well appointed, good kitchen with large table for dining. Everyone we encountered who were staying in the same group of cabins was very nice and friendly. All ages, couples, families with kids. Safe and pleasant little neighborhood. There is no central A/C, but there is a plug in A/C that cools the tv area, kitchen and bedroom off the tv area. These are all on second floor. Downstairs doesn’t really benefit much from it. We were there third of week of August, highs in upper 80’s, but lows in the 50’s by morning. When it started warming up mid morning, we would shut the windows and turn in the a/c unit. At night, once the temps starting cooling off, we would open the windows and use fans to draw in cool air and leave windows open all night. There are good screens on all windows. There are ceiling fans in all rooms and a few free standing fans. We will bring a couple of extra table fans for sleeping next time.

The house had the best location of all the units in the complex. It's located on a great spot on the lake and still protected in a cove. The house had all the amenities needed and was perfect for our size group. Hope to return to make more great family memories

First, I wanted to say thank you to the owners for such amazing communication and friendliness! You guys were so easy to work with and laid out everything very clearly and made the whole process so easy! Second, the cabin and Lake Almanor are just amazing! It was our first visit to the area and we all fell in love instantly! The cabin was so clean and everything was new and so well taken care of. My family of 13 fit perfectly in the cabin and we all had plenty of space. We had 6 kids traveling with us and the cabin was very kid friendly. The location right on the lake had breath taking views and made it so easy for us to kayak and paddle board. The atmosphere was so peaceful and quiet and was perfect for us to just relax and hang out! We will definitely be booking another trip very soon! I highly recommend booking this cabin as it has everything you need for a great/relaxing vacation at a beautiful lake!

Everything exceeded our expectations, the photos do not do justice to the stunning view and the absolute comfort of the rooms! The cabin was well stocked with everything you could think you would need, from excess heaters, bedding, board games, kitchen utensils fully stocked for large families. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Spotlessly clean. Was the highlight of 2020 for us and we thought we had already attained that with a visit to Yosemite in March (before shelter in place started). We were lucky to see the 1st snow of the season and got to see the exquisite beauty with and without snow. What a wonderland with the snow and to be cosy inside with the warm gas fire! Wonderful day hiking nearby in Lassen Volcanic Park made this one of the best outdoor trips we have ever taken.

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautifully decorated cabin. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of space for our group of 6 and one extra bedroom that we didn't even need. Everything was updated and very nicely done. Loved hanging out on the deck and watching the boats go by.

Our family (6 adults, 3 children under 4) stayed from 9/7 - 9/11. The house was perfect for our family and the views are wonderful. You are truly right on the water and so close to the marina. Even though we had no power (PG&E shut-off) for the 1st 48 hours it did not stop us from enjoying the vacation. The house had plenty of candles and flashlights for night time and during the day plenty of light. The kids loved walking to the water and looking for seashells and lobsters :) (crawdads). Plenty of grass area to run around and play. John and Clelie were available whenever we needed them and respective to our needs. I would certainly recommend their cabin to anyone that wanted to spend some time at Lake Almanor. Michelle Beich

My family and I loved our stay here. Smooth experience from the beginning with almost immediate replies from property manager answering our questions. The home is as described, updated and comfortable for our party of 8 adults, 2 children, and 1 infant. We did not realize it was part of a resort community so other cabins were close to us on all sides. But that did not end up taking anything away from our stay. The lake served spectacular views all day. It was steps to the boat dock where we swam, launched rafts and kayaks, and fished. House had any amenity we could have wanted. The interior stairs are very steep so some members of my group could not have stayed on the ground level. Luckily the exterior stairs were much more manageable and take you from the ground level outside to the second story deck where you can walk into the living area, kitchen, and two bedrooms on that level. We hope to come back next summer!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. It has been recently remodeled with very comfortable beds, large rooms, and attractive furnishings. The large kitchen was well stocked and the house offered a very large dining table to seat at least 10 people. The lake views from the living room and master bedroom decks, surround you with beauty. We definitely recommend this house to other large family gatherings. The owners were also very communicative and got back to us quickly.

We came from NV and met family from OR and CA to stay over Christmas week at the cabin. The hosts were supper helpful with information and the property was amazing! You can’t get much closer to the lake and the views are incredible. The cabin is well equipped and stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, linens, and puzzles and games to pass the time if it is nasty out. Great area, great cabin, great experience! Thanks, we will most likely be back when we can.

What a great place to stay, even in the winter. Plenty of snow during our 3 day stay. Driveway was plowed, place was preheated, and had the lakeside to ourselves. An amazing view from almost every room, and each room was like its own little suite, with heat, a tv, and plenty of space. Coffee and wine were nice touches as well.

This was the perfect home for our family gathering. Two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs with a nice sized deck overlooking the lake. The kitchen had every pot/pan/kitchen tool we needed plus some. The beds were all cozy and the entire home was spectacular. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
