Great stay in Westport
Great location in Westport and our dog Peanut was welcome. Since I'm tall, I did have a problem with the low doorway into the main bedroom. The TV in the main bedroom was a welcome addition since our last stay here.

Comfy cozy stress free weekend!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Stray Cat Inn very much. Ramona's hospitality and communication was exceptional. The accommodations were very comfy and cozy. We had everything we would need and more. We had, like probably many others, forgotten a couple things but just a quick look in a cupboard and there it was. From the booking to the checkout it was stress free! We will definitely choose this Inn again for a stay in or nearby Westport and recommend it to friends and family!

We loved everything about this rental...reasonable price, friendly host, artistic and comfortable decor, quiet and nice little touches everywhere. Lots of space and separate sitting area. Highly recommend it.

Charming property. Our family loved having the place to ourselves with a bedroom for each of the kids. Gracious hosts left out a few snacks in case we were hungry when we arrived. A delightful stay!

The weekend was just for me to chill and enjoy some much needed downtime. The Stray Cat Inn delivered all that and more. Beautifully decorated, big windows to let the sunshine in, large tub to soak in, comfortable beds and safety measures in place for complete comfort. Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Stray Cat. It had everything we could have wished for. Ramona even supplied a bed and and bowls for our dog. Wonderfully decorated and everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Wish we had more time to enjoy it. We will be back.

The property owner thought of every amenity possible! During our stay, the weather was extremely hot. The property's window air conditioners kept things nice and cool. Additionally, the ceiling fans made sleeping very comfortable.

Wonderful Gem in the Heart of Westport
The Stray Cat Inn is a well equipped base for exploring all that the Rideau Lakes area has to offer. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds really comfortable. The individual air conditioners in each room was very welcomed. The lounge area is perfectly formed - with everything you need to pull together a quick breakfast or a light lunch. There are folding chairs & a folding table which we moved to once it was too dark to continue playing games on the lovely patio set outside. It is a one of the few places in the area that is pet friendly and we were delighted to bring our dog. Ramona even provided a pet bed and bowls. 😍 Despite pets being allowed, the place was impeccably clean. I highly recommend The Stray Cat Inn and will definitely return again.

Ramona's place is very clean, spacious, and well setup. She provides many thoughtful amenities and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The location is great, close to the water and situated very close to all places we wanted to visit within Westport We highly recommend.

We needed one night accommodation for our family for a wedding held in nearby Elgin. This was perfect! So cute and clean! Wish we had planned a longer stay to enjoy the area! Ramona was a very good host and her place is simply adorable!

Stray Cat Inn is located in the heart of Westport. You can walk to all local restaurants, shopping, groceries or take a stroll to the water. We had our own separate entrance and had the entire upper floor to ourselves with a choice of 3 bedrooms. They have a lounge area that was filled with lots of snacks, microwave, dishes, coffee maker, coffee and cream. She thought of everything! Amazing stay!

Quaint and Cozy
Quaint and comfortable stay! The bedrooms were lovely with very comfy beds (and I appreciated the AC). The common room was cozy, and it was nice to eat dinner at the dining set in the front garden. The kitchen setup is very minimal, but there were a lot of little perks available elsewhere…and the treats were a very nice touch. Friendly hostess and town!

Our host, Ramona was very generous and hospitable whilst still respecting our privacy. Everything was arranged with emphasis on detail. It was great. My wife and I relaxed and our dog had a super time as well. Highly recommend. Peter from Montréal.

Lovely Place, Conveniently Located
This is a lovely property - clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the hosts provided extras such as coffee, cream, and a basket of fruit and snacks, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The location is very convenient - easy walking to downtown stores and restaurants. Ramona was a thoughtful host and provided all the information that we needed.

What a lovely property, full of charm in a cozy setting. Like many others, we found the bed comfortable and appreciated the extras that made our stay easy—coffee, cream, and a basket of snacks and fruit. The location can’t be beat. We easily walked around the corner to restaurants, brewery and bakeries. Yum! Ramona was quick to answer questions we had and was the perfect host.

Good spot right in town and easy rental process
The Stray Cat Inn was a good spot in the middle of town, a stone's throw away from everything. The beds were comfortable and the place is well maintained. Ramona was very communicative with all the details and we very much enjoyed having the snacks she left us when one of us wasn't on the same food schedule. Head's up for folks who do not see it in the pics, the lounge area is best for 2 people (4 people max) and doesn't have a full kitchen so if the weather doesn't allow you to enjoy the beautiful flowery front garden or you are planning to spend a lot of time indoors, keep that mind.

Very clean, nicely decorated and well kept. Only issue was the creaky floors (it’s an old house) and the very creaky, noisy mattress/bed that kind of prevented a good restful sleep.

Beautiful space to enjoy picturesque Westport
Very lovely, warm and comfortable place to spend a few days in the beautiful Village of Westport. Host was terrific and the location was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Walking distance to shops.and restaurants and the waterfront. Rooms were beautiful and all amenities were there. Definitely will stay there again.

The Stray Cat is a unique, quaint but spacious place to spend some time in Westport. The rooms are all a very good size (3 bedrooms) and the outdoor patio is well maintained and peaceful! Communication with Ramona was always very clear, prompt, and especially friendly! We were even invited to join her family at their outdoor firepit. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Amazing little Inn
The Stray Cat Inn was a wonderful place for a weeks vacation. Ramona and Fred were fantastic hosts. Westport is a town with everything you could possibly need within a very short walking g distance of the Inn. Highly, highly recommend both The Stray Cat and Westport for a wonderful relaxing holiday. We would definitely recommend and hope to return someday.

Fantastic property with lots of special touches
We had a wonderful one night stay at the Stray Cat Inn. The property is located in the heart of Westport and walking distance to everything. The beautifully decorated rooms are full of small but welcome extras for travelers - from toiletries to snacks to local guides. Ramona was welcoming and so accommodating. Excellent stay!

Property is well maintained, clean, and rather quaint but also supplied with all the features of an hotel. Beds were very comfy and we enjoyed the sitting area, although it was a bit small. Waterfront was nearby and shopping and restaurants were within walking distance. All in all, we will definitely return.

Sorry life called us back to the city
I cannot say enough about our time at the Stray Cat other then it was too short. The efficiency unit was well stocked from plates cutlery wine glasses and a corkscrew too. Spotless convection toaster over, which was perfect for re-heating the roasted veggies and goat cheese I brought. An AMAZING coffee system and great teas as well. Little snacks that we took full advantage of. You need to bring NOTHING, Romona thinks of everything, housecoats, shampoo, blow dryer, games, lots of towels and pillows, etxra blankets. I could go on. Communication was effortless and prompt, we even enjoyed a nice conversation one evening. I wish I could book this place long term.
