Perfect location, nicely supplied and appointed. Very clean and close to pretty much anything you could require. Back for my Moms funeral and the rental agency contacted us daily just to make sure our stay was trouble free, which it was. 5 stars! Won’t hesitate to stay here again!

Gerard is amazing. Super nice and very responsive. The instructions and directions were sent to us in advance and always arrived at the perfect time. It’s a great studio apartment and is very comfortable and clean. An amazing beach is less than 10 mins away and the shopping and food in Westport is a 10!!

Cute and Cozy Studio, Perfect for a Couples Getaway!
My wife and I stayed in this cute apartment in Westport for a week. It was perfect for our trip as I worked remotely, and my wife worked nights nearby. The apartment has everything you need for a home away from home. The kitchen is perfect for meals for two. The area is spacious, with lovely decor and ambiance. The bed is super comfy memory foam. All of it makes for a great living space. Below the apartment, you have access to the communal workspace, which is great for video meetings. The whole space is an old mill the owner converted. You can see the lovely river flowing from the workspace below. My only complaint is that the hot water did go quickly a couple of times, and the floor in spots is creaky, but everything overall was fantastic.

The apartment made the most of the space and was great overall. The location is ok, but sits on a busy road, which doesn’t give any sense that you are close to the water, which you are. The host was very accessible, which I really appreciated. I would rent again

A Great VRBO In Every Way

Nice getaway
Clean, cute and spacious studio apartment. Great Wi-Fi and workspace if you need to get work done. Appreciated the soft sheets and white noise machine for a good nights sleep. Also had soft towels and bathroom had toiletries and lotion for convenience. And has washer/dryer for laundry as well. I highly recommend!

This space was just what I needed for a place to read, craft, shop and walk the local beach. The lighting was tremendous, the technology perks were top notch, kitchen was well stocked, couch and bed were very comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and always communicated quickly!

Great stay in Westport
We had a lovely 4 night stay at this lovely loft apartment in Westport, CT. The loft is a studio apartment located on the second floor of a renovated historic mill. The studio has a small living room area with a sleeper sofa. There is also a bedroom area, small kitchen, and bathroom. I wouldn’t attempt to cook a full dinner in the kitchen but it works well enough for making breakfast in the morning. There is also a laundry room on the first floor of the mill if you need to wash clothes. We loved being between downtown Fairfield and Westport which provided lots of great dinning options. If you don’t want to get in the car you can always walk across the street to Panera Bread or next door to the Shake Shack for a quick bite. We brought our little dog with us. Finding a safe place to walk him posed a problem since the studio is directly on the Post Road and he was scared of the traffic flying by. The property manager, Gerard, was very accommodating. You could tell he loves all the properties under his care. If you’re able to climb stairs and love staying in the center of everything then this property is for you!

Attractive, week equipped and maintained unit, convenient to highways, Metro North, Westport shopping, beach. Gerard was a helpful and gracious host. Access to business suite on lower level is a plus if you’ve brought some work along with you. Only negative is location directly on Post Road, which results in some traffic noise. In all, an enjoyable stay.

Great if you stay for work or would like to be in your room most of the time
If you would like to be in the room most of the time - work or just stay inside - the place is fantastic: it is uniquely and very tastefully arranged and has everything you need. The host offered access to a co-working place downstairs, which is a brilliantly planned facility. If you. however would like to enjoy the beach while lacking the local car plate registration, be prepared to either walk there (30 min) or pay $50/day entry fee on weekends (2022 numbers). Our stay was very pleasant, and the host checked in with us several times.

My 11 year old daughter and I stayed for a few nights while visiting our family in Westport. We found the unit to be very clean and comfortable. The communication with the property manager was excellent. We came in from the west coast time zone, and we were concerned that the street noise and light in the unit would wake us too early, but it was fine with eye masks and ear plugs. The bed and the roll-out couch were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils, microwave, stove, and a mini fridge. We plan to return again the future ! Thank you!

Everything you need in a great location!
We had a fun and peaceful time in this spacious VRBO. It had everything we needed from fluffy towels, well stocked kitchen utensils, plenty of heat and hot H2O, and all in a great location. VERY clean! Your stay includes access to work space on first floor. We had Panera breakfast by the river down there every morning. Panera is right across the street for your morning muffin, etc. This VRBO provides free coffee and fast wifi to keep you jazzed and connected. Super easy check in and check out with fantastic owner Gerard. Will definitely book again!

The studio was clean and comfortable and the location perfect for visiting our family. Not sure we would recommend for a long stay as the parking was challenging during the day and there was not much of an outside area to enjoy the beautiful September weather. I would also suggest updating the cookware for stays longer then a few days.

This is a lovely restored space in an old mill building located on the Post Road. It's light and bright, with imaginative and colorful decor. There are many skylights and windows, but there is no sound from the road. It's a convenient, charming and comfortable place to stay.

A very Cozy “Home Away”
My husband and I recently stayed at the Old Sasco Mill for just short of three weeks. We had lived in Westport and Southport for many years before moving to Florida a year an a half ago. The studio was a perfect choice because of its convenience to both friends and family and we loved the independence it afforded us to visit with everyone and have a place of our own. We were very pleased that, at first glance, it was exactly as pictured with no surprises, and very tastefully furnished. We felt very comfortable with the amenities, especially that all of our utilities had ease of access with the Amazon Alexa provided. Gerard was extremely accommodating and responsive. We will definitely look forward our next stay at Old Sasco Mill!

Topnotch in Every Way
This property is a true find. It is incredibly clean, spacious, full of light, bright and fun, a wonderful deal for the area and managed by a thoughtful and responsive owner, Gerard. It is also very well located for exploring the immediate area, Connecticut and New York City. The work space option should appeal to many who need to consider working. We had been on the road for some time so, were very happy to have access to laundry facilities. Check in a breeze. All questions answered at lightening speed, but never in an overbearing way. We would always consider this owner's properties first when returning to the area....for sure!

Great location!
The apartment was in a great location. We enjoyed watching the wildlife (geese, turtles, etc.) in the stream next door. We also enjoyed picking up breakfast at Village Bagel across the street. The apartment was comfortable for our family of 4. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome Space, Great Host
The property is great and was lots of fun. My Daughter graduated from Fairfield University and we stayed for 4 nights. It was so much more convenient than a hotel. Gerard the host was great! the loft is very clean and well appointed. Air conditioning works well. The wildlife at the dam was an added bonus. A really cool space to stay.

Charming accommodations, great location!
From the moment we arrived we knew the Old Sasco Mill was something special. Owner Gerard was as welcoming and gracious as could be. Immaculate and inviting the apartment is "smart wired" and comfortable. The only drawback to some may be street noise but it was not an issue for us. We will return!
