Charming 2-bd house in Westport, dog friendly, leisurely 8 min walk to beach

Discover the Dragonfly CabInn, a 2-bedroom 1-full bath gem in Westport on the coast of Washington. This adorable house features 2 queen beds, a cozy living space with an extra large sectional, and a relaxing forest atmosphere that will make guests feel right at home. Open beach access is just a short 8 minute walk away, at the Cohasset Beach entrance.

We have a wood stove and will stock you up with firewood and starters. Primary bedroom has wall heater. And living room and 2nd bedroom have additional floor heaters. Each bedroom has its own TV, we have open WiFi, and a washer and dryer. Everything you need is at your fingertips, including some basics in the kitchen that you'd need! The bathroom is equipped with BRAND NEW shower, and all the supplies you need.

Our place is dog friendly, up to 3 dogs which is a rare find! An outside dog run is secured for your pups. The property is not fenced at the time so while your dogs may roam around the property, just be mindful they can slip away unless in the dog run.

Out front we have a firepit and the back has a lovely porch and furniture to enjoy the rain or sun! Bring your camper for a glamping stay!

Whether you're exploring the nearby attractions in Westport (you should check out the winery, or the beautiful garden, or enjoy some delish fish and chips at Bennett's!) or simply relaxing in the comfort of this delightful cabinn, you're sure to have a memorable stay. We are looking forward to hosting you!

Everything you need
Perfect and relaxing. We appreciated having access to a hose and water to rinse off our clamming equipment and the clams. Loved having a simple and well equipped kitchen. The beds are comfortable and our teens loved the couches. Easy walk out to the beach to see the solar storm with magnificent Northern Light show.

Booked this property a little last minute for a quick weekend away. Home was clean and ready for us on arrival, the host communicated check in wonderfully and provided everything needed for a restful weekend. Close enough to restaurants and shopping to have easy access, but far enough away to enjoy quiet evenings and some privacy. Would absolutley stay here in the future. Home was well furnished in all aspects.

Great little beachgoer and sportsman cabin.
Clean updated interior felt warm and comfortable after a rainy days on the beach clam digging. Easy stroll to beach and short drive to beach access by vehicle. Great wood burning stove. Nice woodsy view from deck and back house. Good setup for cleaning clams and fish outside. Big enough parking for boat trailer. Overall great for our needs. Looks like the owner is currently still at work making the place better.

Cozy cabin with great location
Check in was super easy. Cabin is well stocked in the kitchen and bathroom as well as blankets, games, books, etc. Even with no central heat and not using the wood stove it was plenty warm. Beds are comfy. Wooded area off the back porch is lovely. And best of all the owners were very responsive and friendly!

Home away from home
This place felt comfortable. The house had everything we needed, from a corkscrew to nice towels, from candles to a barbecue. The bed was comfortable and there's even a washer/dryer- the best amenity to have on vacation! The house is close to the beach, not far from town, and sufficiently hidden, making it feel remote. The neighborhood is walkable, quiet, and quite lovely. We visited during the week so the town of Westport was quiet, affording us the ability to take our time checking things out. We enjoyed the local wine and the nearby sausage store. We will be coming back soon!

Lovely getaway
My partner and I had a lovely weekend getaway at the CabInn. The location was awesome, a quiet neighborhood that was easy to walk or bike to the beach - we biked up through the state park as well. The space was comfortable and cozy, it had everything we needed for our stay, and we'll be looking to stay here the next time we come to the coast.

Amazing location, adorable living space
My husband and I wanted a “stay-cation” weekend a few hours away from home, but we also wanted a sense of seclusion and a place to bring our dogs to the beach. This spot was the perfect walking distance to the beach with no crazy roads or traffic to contend with, the living space was inviting and clearly renovated with comfort in mind, with nothing we needed missing. The hosts are friendly and very easy to work with, plus our dogs had the best time and are beyond tired after their beach adventures. We brought home wine from the winery down the road, sand dollars, and great memories.

Wonderful gem in Westport!
We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin! With 3 dogs in tow, the place was perfect. Communication with the host was a breeze, the house is well equipped, clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was ideal for us. Whether with furry friends or not I'd highly recommend staying here!
