Bairds View Villa

The place is spacious and clean. The pool area is beautiful. It’s a short walk to the beach, where you can rent chairs at a reasonable price. We’d likely stay elsewhere next time though as there wasn’t much to safely walk to (no sidewalks) other than the beach. The neighborhood also looked a bit rough (lots of litter) but we didn’t feel unsafe. We enjoyed our visits from the monkeys and neighborhood cat and loved the offer from the property manager to grab groceries before we got there!

This property was an absolute dream! We were 6 adults and 4 kids, and fit so comfortably. Our stay was amazing. John was helpful, and we honestly wished that we had booked for longer. The balconies were to die for. The views, the breeze.. everything was a beauty. We saw monkeys.. and even made friends with the cat by the pool. He never came in uninvited.. Gosh, everything was perfect! 10000/10 stars!!

I wish this house was mine!

This was honestly our best stay in Barbados yet and this was my 8th trip. The house is huge with so much space for everyone. The pool and garden are outstanding, a rare find to get that much space outside. John was so very kind in accommodating our early arrival and had lots of nice cold drinks ready and waiting in the fridge.Simone was so friendly and did a fantastic job of cleaning the house and had some great local recommendations. The location is absolutely perfect, halfway between Holetown and Speightstown. Thunderbay at the bottom of the road is truly stunning, there are 3 bars with sunbeds to chose from. Friday nights opposite the house, Heavenly Touch catering do incredible take away food, I thoroughly recommend. I will definitely be booking again in the future,I only wish this house belonged to us!

Family getaway

Perfect villa for our family of 9, celebrating a birthday. Walk to the beach, beautiful private backyard, all the amenities that we could ask for. Walked to the fish market, easy access to Holetown for supplies. Property manager was super responsive, and the booking manager handled our change of date request quickly.

Excellent Vacation

I rented this property for my wife and I to get together with our two sons and their families. A week before our rental I had emergency eye surgery so my wife and I were unable to go. This review is based on the comments from our sons. Their families thoroughly enjoyed the property and the beach, our grandchildren spent most days in the pool or sea. Both the owner and property manager were very nice to deal with.

Perfect place for a relaxing girls trip

After a terrible experience with another VRBO property who got our dates wrong and didn’t show up to let us in, we booked this property and they were able to accommodate us last minute. The property was beautiful, had a nice sized pool, a convenient location close to the beach and several great restaurants. The property manager, John was also super helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Baird’s Delight

My family stayed at the Baird’s View from 13-20th November 2024.
We were very pleasantly surprised to see that the villa looked exactly like it did in the photos if not better.
 Baird’s View was very spacious & very clean. All areas of the villa were lovely, air conditioning in the bedrooms, a great kitchen space with full laundry amenities and a great outside space with pool. It was great having use of a washer and dryer. 
The villa is located  within 5min downhill walk to a beautiful beach and bus stops but remember the walk back is uphill so some may find hiring a car appropriate. 
Shops, bars & restaurants approx 10-15 min drive either to Holetown or Speighstown. John the House Manager was easy to communicate with and Simone the housekeeper couldn’t do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible & acted on any questions promptly. We experienced an issue in one of the bathrooms and as soon I made her aware she was on it and accommodated our schedule to provide a fix. 
I would definitely recommend & book to stay at Baird’s View again.

Very spacious luxury villa.

Fantastic accommodation with more than enough space for 8. Fully equipped kitchen and 3 balconies. The pool is fabulous and gets sun all day. Strongly recommended

My 60th Birthday trip

OMG! I loved this place! Connected me to my Bajan roots! The home was comfortable for all. You can walk to the beach or stay by the pool. Thunder Bay Beach and Carlton Bar and Grill around the corner. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend my birthday! Thank you John! Say hello to Simone for me!

Lovely stay

John was very helpful and Simone was lovely. We had a lovely trip. The pool could have been cleaned mid holiday and some of the Villa requires an update, however plenty of positives (location, air con, size of house / rooms, view from the balcony) and great watching the monkeys eating their mangoes.

Barbados 2024

We had a lovely 2-week stay at the villa. It was nice to stay in a residential area as we have mainly stayed in resorts previously. The villa was perfect for us. Plenty of space for a family consisting of 5 adults and a teenager. Outdoor space was good. Beach close by. Would stay again. Barbados is our favourite holiday destination. John was really helpful, did some shopping for us before we arrived and responded to any questions quickly.

Terrific place

The property is in a local neighborhood and just down the road from a really nice beach that we spent a lot of time on. There was also a nice local takeout place a few doors down it was terrific, having the swimming pool as well. given the cost of flatscreen TVs. I would just suggest they upgrade the size of their television in the living room. beyond that the place is clean the bathrooms new, and overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful house located in Holetown,Barbedos

This is a very nice property within a short distance by car of the heart of Holetown. It is located in a typical Barbadian residential area. The area is safe. Despite the neighbourhood it is pretty quiet and very private due to the lush nature surrounding it. The terraces and pool are very large and convenient. The property is located within walking distance from a beach, not the best but ideal to watch the sunset. I highly recommend it.

We had a good time for the 2 weeks we spent there. The villa was nice and very spacious. No bad or small bedrooms. The beach a couple of minutes walk away was lovely. Not too many people on it. The property manager was helpful when we called him. No issues with anything.

Perfect Vacation Villa

Our stay was great, the villa was very clean, the neighbors were friendly and helpful with directions….John answer my questions and calls when I reach out to him. The housekeeper was very pleasant., there was plenty of clean towels and linens…the villa was spacious enough for our group of 7adults….OOH the pool was very inviting. Wonderful Property

We had a wonderful stay! The house is amazing and located in a calm and friendly neighborhood. There is a beach located down the block from the house which was a plus. The house was equipped with everything one might need, the rooms have air conditioning, the bathrooms are spacious and very well maintained. The backyard is lovely, nice pool and even a barbecue is available. Limegrove Center is a neighborhood mall, fairly close, about a 10 minute drive. The center is beautiful and has stores, restaurants and bars to enjoy. There is a Massy supermarket within a 10 minute drive as well, which was very helpful anytime we needed to stock up on food. The property manager is very kind and easy to communicate with. We will definitely enjoy staying here again and totally recommend to anyone looking for a family home.

Wonderful!

Great stay! House was perfect size for 5 adults and 2 kids. The house is located in a residential neighborhood with the wonderful sounds of roosters and whistling frogs. The pool is perfect! Big enough for the kids to have fun while also allowing the adults to relax. 5 min walk to the beach. I would recommend some new waterproof patio cushions as the current ones are showing their age. John the property manager was great!

I would highly recommend. Very clean. The host was very accommodating and his staff was super welcoming. I suggest bringing your own wash rags because there are not any. However everything else is provided. This is now my forever home when visiting beautiful Barbados. The owner/his staff can point you in the direction for anything you need (grocery, taxi, babysitter, etc)
