« Our experience at this cottage was extremely disappointing. After driving for 4 hours, we had to clean for two hours before unpacking to make it a bit more acceptable. Where do I begin, the cottage was very dirty and so are the pots and pans left there to be used by the guests. The kettle on the stove was filled with dirty rusty water, the cast iron pans were greasy and dirty, the table, chairs and wall behind the stove were very sticky. « We have rented quite a few cabins in this area of Maine. This one is by far the best! Easy check-in, the cabin itself was extremely clean, especially considering dogs are allowed. Kitchen has everything you need to cook your meals and even the little things like dish soap, dish scrub and even baggies. We loved the outdoor space and location to the lake. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Will definitely stay here again! »

« This lake cottage was peaceful, serene and just plain magical! The screened porch was a wonderful cocoon from which we enjoyed views of the lake and wildlife while sipping coffee and eating meals.
