The hosts made contact and offered to light the fire for our arrival which we were grateful for having got rather wet in the morning. « Conveniently located close to Inverness ( 15 minutes by car - Car necessary to reach the house) but in the countryside. Great view on the fields. No noise : quiet and peaceful nights, we slept like babies. The house is fully equiped. The bedrooms are large. There are 2 bathrooms and plenty of towels. « We stayed on the Isle of Skye for a week at 6 Knott which was obsoletely idea for exploring the island. It's located just a 15 minute drive north of Portree (the main town) making it very central and accessible to most areas of interest. The cottage is located on a very quiet lane with views over the hills and the loch. It has a secure garden which was great for the dog.
