Property was perfect location for a trip into yellowstone park .I also like that it's in the rear of west yellowstone so its much more quiet. Easy to walk to main street. Staff is very friendly and the place is immaculate and rather new.

Great stay
Very nice! Breakfast was great, the rooms had great amenities and the beds were comfortable. The only thing missing here is maybe some small alcoholic drinks available in lobby for purchase. We would stay here again!

Overall this is probably the best hotel choice in West Yellowstone for adults. That said, there is limited choice there. This was a really cute hotel & the breakfast was awesome!! Super nice staff. We were disappointed with the view from our room, which was basically a stack of tires at the auto shop across the street. But, I think that is more reflective of the town than of this property itself.

This kid free zone was excellent! Fireplace in each room and the bathrooms set this apart! Dual stall showers with towel warming racks, private bathroom, big dual sinks. The bed was big and comfy. The room is on the small side but meant for 1 or 2 adults not a family sized room. There are no in-room microwaves but the breakfast area has one. Speaking of, the breakfast was eloquent, good hot selections, inviting dinning area, and beautifully decorated. The only down side is this two story facility doesn’t have an elevator but they offer to carrry your luggage up the stairs. We always had a spot in the small parking lot. It's minutes away from everything in town and the entrance to Yellowstone. Staff was always helpful and cheery. If you're going to spend a chunk of change and aren't traveling with kids, I'd recommend this in a heart beat!

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Although the room was not a large room, it had everything you need for a very comfortable overnight stay and was super clean. The bed was also very comfortable. Breakfast bar was excellent. I'm very particular about hotels and I highly recommend.

The 1872 Inn is a great place to stay on the outskirts of Yellowstone NP. The rooms are clean and comfortable, there is a great selection for breakfast, and it was exactly what we were hoping for when we booked our stay.

The bed was amazing! The continental breakfast was delicious the eggs surprised us. The dual shower heads was awesome to get showers done quickly. The concierge was very nice and showed us around and helped us with a very helpful map of the area with restaurant and convenient store. Highly recommend

The rooms are small but have modern and rustic decoration. They have everything you need and many extras that other hotels don't have. We enjoyed DirecTV satellite with lots of channels, a big TV, 3 USB chargers with power outlets, a heated towel rack, a big shower with 2 shower heads and its own heated air fan, a separate room for the toilet was nice, and free sodas (Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, sparkling water) plus 2 bottles of water. Dual sinks, each with a different brand of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A steamer rather than an iron. They had a comfortable bed with 5 pillows and a gas fireplace. They definitely paid attention to details.

Loved this property. If staying in the small town of West Yellowstone/ this is by far your best option. The hotel is very clean and modern compared to other hotels in the area. Towel warmers were a nice touch. Great continental breakfast. Only negative would be lack of elevators to 2nd floor rooms ( hotel is only 2 stories). Which wasn’t ab issue for us. I’m not sure if this is advertised. Ask for a room on 1st floor is needed.

Well appointed room. They also have thought about some of the little things like both men's and women's toiletries. Breakfast was also a little better than you get at most "breakfast included" hotels. If in the area, i would definately consider staying here again

Das Hotel ist in unmittelbarer Nähe zum westlichen Eingang zum Yellowstone Park gelegen. Das Zimmer war ortstypisch eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Allerdings ist der Preis für die Größe recht hoch.

Sin dudarlo
Estancia inmejorable, de hecho prolongamos la estancia. El hotel por fuera parece un poco viejo pero pasas la puerta y te encuentras con un Hall muy bonito y un recepcionista que ha sido EL MEJOR que nos hemos topado en nuestro periplo por USA. Ofrecen parking gratuito y desayuno en un salón muy acogedor con muy buen servicio.

I would highly recommend 1872. It was at the quiet end of town but walkable distance to the shops and restaurants. Such a cute place with VERY nice rooms. All updated and great quality fixtures. Rooms has awesome fireplace. Extremely clean!!!

This was a charming motel. Room was nicely appointed & updated with a huge shower, complimentary snacks, soft drinks and waters. Super comfortable bed too. Complimentary breakfast was great. Great in town location- walking distance to restaurants & a helpful desk clerk too.

A unique adults only quaint property. A little pricey for a small room. Very clean and homey. The best breakfast and I loved the dining room and communal spaces. Too bad they don’t offer a simple three course dinner. No elevator so had to carry luggage up stairs although they did offer. Area around the property is not pretty!!

Very cute, cozy and rustic hotel very close to Yellowstone west entrance. View from our window not so great though- auto garage shop with piles of tires. Rooms very small. But overall, very unique boutique- type adult hotel.

The Inn itself was very nice. The people who run it were excellent. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean. Also, the location is quite convenient since it is right down the street from the West entrance to the park and walking distance to all of downtown.

I loved the fact that it was a small,intimate boutique hotel. The rooms had a fireplace and small refrigerator with water and snacks. There also was a sauna for two in the hotel. The lobby was cozy and offered a light breakfast. Would definitely return!

What a great place! The room was amazing from the comfy bed, the fireplace, window with screen, double shower, heated towel rack and overall design. The hotel itself is super quiet and so clean. The front desk staff is amazing. The a/c worked great. You can walk to dining and shopping.

The cleanliness and amenities are top notch. Breakfast options allowed for a full meal to start the day. Quiet rooms except the noise from the parking lot when our window was open was loud in the morning. Nice decor.
