« Lovely quiet location »

« Great little holiday home. Set in amazing gardens which was the highlight. Children loved the two swing/hammocks in the garden.Gave 4 stars and not 5 as the mattresses were not the most comfortable. »

« The once lovingly furnished house is unfortunately no longer in very good condition and furnishings. It would need to be thoroughly cleaned and the missing dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. replaced. The chimney flue is not working properly and the pressure of the hot water pipe for showers is poor. What was most annoying was the poor cleaning: cobwebs from the ceiling, thick dust everywhere, the furniture greasy from the fireplace. There was neither a mop mob nor a vacuum cleaner to help yourself....

« Loved staying at the French Mill. The Romany Wagon was definitely an added bonus for the girls. It gave them a truly magical and memorable experience. Ideally located and charming holiday rental property for visiting the island. Only sorry not to have been able to actually meet our host Rebecca who was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay.. we were also pretty fortunate with the weather. Hope to come back one day … »

« If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay then this is the place for you! It’s a very pretty location with a few divas next door (the sheep!) they love a rich tea biscuit and will make sure you remember them!! I had a fabulous time exploring the new forest and this was in the perfect location to come back and relax in…loved it »

« Farmhouse cottage is connected to the main farmhouse via a normal wooden internal door which remained unlocked throughout our visit. Having never met the owners we found this uncomfortable. Every noise could be heard through this doorway. Be it clear conversations or relentless dog barking . There is a wood burner that is situated in the main living room. « What a find! A real home from home property, with everything you could wish for in a holiday let. Pictures on site are accurate, we asked for the twin beds to be fixed together to create a larger space, such luxury! Loved the feather duvet… The hosts were very welcoming and made suggestions for walks, trips and restaurants. A joy to stay in the fold yard and see the ponies in the paddocks.
