« Cadre très agréable pour le bar et le restaurant. Bonne cuisine. Accès aux chambres du 2me étage un peu compliqué avec des valises.(pas d'ascenseur) . L'emplacement du parking à l'arrière de l'hôtel requiert une explication et un plan à la réception. »

« Absolutely horrible !!! Staff were horrible and the owner was cursing at me and never got the keys to my cabin even after it being paid and money taken out my account !! Waited for 5 hours just to be told “there has been a double booking” and not even getting a refund or any other cabin !!!! Unprofessional service and behaviour from the owner and the staff ! « We got to the site about 8pm and had to go to the club house to get the key from a helpful local , opened the door and it smelt like a dirty hamster cage , the bedding was roled up in the centre of the bed amd i couldnt tell if it was clean or dirty , walked into the toilet amd there was poo all around the rim of the toilet and in the pan , the floor of the hut was all water damged and peeling up, we turned right around and walked out , in that part of wales driving im the dark to try and fimd a...

« Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village. »

« For us, just a one-night stay, but we arrived about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, to find this is an extremely popular venue for Sunday lunches. The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. The room, facilities and bed were all comfortable and all in all, we had made a good choice in a quiet rural location. »

« Well where do I start, the staff were excellent as they were so helpful, caring and very friendly. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent as well as being very tasty. Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit. »

« The property was as beautiful as it was in the pictures with lovely grounds and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Unfortunately though, the outside of the property was swarming with wasps so unable to keep doors and windows open and nor could you fully relax in the hot tub. My partner got stung on the first night. Also there was a trap in the corner of the bedroom which made us feel uneasy sleeping at night. And the window above the bed did not have a blackout blind so was woken early...
