« Welcoming staff at check-in. Accommodation is in a great location with a lovely outdoor seating area. Room had everything we needed for an overnight stay, warm, comfortable and clean. Just two things to note, the en-suite needs a blind over the window for privacy from outdoor guests using the seating area, and the shower cubicle has mildew on the grout and tiles, which is rather off putting when stepping in to use! However, a very enjoyable stay and would use again. »

« We were walking the Shropshire Way and the White Horse was a nice place to fall into at the end of a long day's walk. The food was wholesome and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable. The bar area was popular with locals celebrating a football match win and this lasted until around 10:00 pm when it all subsided into a gentle placidity. The breakfast in particular was delicious. »

« On a fairly quiet road junction, we did experience some road noise early in the morning. The carpark is rough. Staff made an effort to welcome us, offering fresh milk for the room and help with luggage. Rooms were clean but need some updating especially the TV which you couldn't keep plugged in if you wanted to boil a kettle. You have to move the bedside tables to access the sockets by the bed.
