Bon emplacement!
Bel hôtel en général, propre et bon service. Personnel accueillant et courtois. Très bon choix pour le déjeuner. Un peu déçue que la piscine n’était pas disponible lors de notre séjour de 3 jours car c’était l’un de nos critères de sélection. Le tapis était mal tendu dans notre chambre mais de façon générale, nous avons aimé le confort, la qualité des services reçus et l’emplacement de l’hôtel qui nous permettait de visiter à pied les environs. On recommande!

Rooms, foyer, bar, staff are what you would expect from a 5 star. So very happy there. Unfortunately they did not inform at time of booking the pool, sauna and gym was being refurbished. Only emailed after booking. They did have a back up gym and pool about 10min walk away.

The city view from our hotel room was awesome. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is near great shopping and restaurants. Easy walk to the harbour. Great place to stay.

Excellent breakfast buffet! Front desk mixed up and gave my corner room to the other person in our group and then when he wouldn't change, would not find me a comparable one even though I was willing to pay. They also did not have closed captioning on the tv for my deaf friend and the hotel pool (an important amenity) was closed. Not the best stay to say the least.

I had a slightly rough start to my stay at IC Wellington. There was some dirty water pooled on the bathroom floor and, although it was great to have two walls of windows, I didn't enjoy the rooftop view. But the room was large and modern and comfortable and the location is great. The staff is helpful. So, overall, a very solid stay.

A great experience from start to finish. We arrived 5 hours before check in time and we’re able to go straight to our room. Concierge service was fabulous. Room was beautiful and very clean. Outrageous hotel response
I have a headache because the hotel's hallway and room smell of paint is so serious, but the hotel didn't mention anything about this situation. I've never seen a pathetic case of receiving a guest with just one fan on, perhaps to remove the smell of paint from a hallway where ventilation is not even available. I was surprised by the pathetic and ridiculous reception of the front desk staff who tried to charge the room again at check-out despite paying all the expenses when making a reservation, and then confirmed that the payment was made after a long time when we asked to check it again. On many recent trips, I have had similar experiences throughout the IHG chain. You should take the training of your staff seriously.

A reputed 5-star establishment, was a mixed bag of experiences. While the overall ambiance and service were commendable, certain undisclosed inconveniences impacted our stay significantly. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to learn that the gym and pool areas were undergoing renovation—a critical detail absent during the booking process. The hotel staff attempted to rectify this by offering off-site alternatives, but arranging and adjusting to these last-minute changes proved to be a hassle, affecting our leisure plans. Furthermore, the food options at the hotel's restaurant fell short of expectations for a 5-star establishment. The variety and quality were below par compared to international hotel chains, leaving much to be desired. Despite these setbacks, the hotel's general service, room comfort, and overall ambiance were praiseworthy. The staff exhibited professionalism and hospitality, maintaining the standard one would anticipate from a 5-star venue.

Perfect location since it's walkable to key places. My main issue is on the facilities. During our stay (December 2023), the pool, gym area are under renovation. I booked thru Expedia but it would useful to inform the guests about such things. The facilities specially is my main consideration of booking this hotel. My family was looking forward for that. I'm also disappointed that there is no parking space provided or at least a discounted rate. Parking overnight is very expensive. Overall, it is not worth staying here since there isn't a big difference anymore from other hotela near by.

The hotel was in a perfect location. Easy walk to a variety of restaurants and shopping. Staff was super friendly. The rooms were quite spacious.

We stayed in room 524. The body wash pump in the bathroom was broken so no soap would come out. The position of the soap is rather dangerous, it makes the floor of the bathroom where you step out, soapy and slippery. Overall presentation was good but the design isn't the greatest. When I pointed the broken body wash pump at time of check-out, there were 3 people behind the desk at the time. Not one of them apologised for the inconvenience caused, one just said "thanks, I'll pass it on". I've worked in 5 star resorts myself in the past and this is not the kind of customer service expected in 4-5 star accommodations. Also, it was unclear whether the coffee pods in the room were complimentary or charged as it's placed alongside with the room service foods. It would be a good idea to label them complimentary if they are. And for the price we paid for the room, I was shocked to see 'long life milk" in the room opposed to a jug of fresh milk. I'm pretty certain most people would prefer the normal milk than the long life.
