Hood National Forest! Brand-new remodel, this wood cabin has all original bones with modern updates.



The Space:

This is a brand-new, remodeled, quaint, modern cabin is in the heart of Mt. Hood National Forest in Welches, Oregon, just ten minutes from Government Camp and several Mt. Hood Ski Resorts. We furnished this space with luxury and comfort in mind and it is truly one of a kind in this area.



The Log Cabin has brand new finishes and appliances, and can sleep up to 8 guests, including 1 king, 1 full bed, a pull-out queen sofa bed, and an airstream with 2 twins. The cabin sits on over half an acre of space so you can truly unwind in peace.



This cabin boasts original cedar flooring, with fresh sanding and staining completed just a few months ago. It also features new paint, wallpaper, and quartz countertops.



This log cabin welcomes families, friends, and ski-bums alike.



The entire purpose of this cabin is to give visitors to the Pacific Northwest easy access to Portland and Mt. Hood, while simultaneously feeling the escape of Oregon’s forests and fresh air. This location is perfect for trail runners, or those that like to mountain bike for recreation or sport. The home sits on just under an acre, including nearby Salmon, ZigZag, and Sandy Rivers.



The cabin has brand new, comfortable queen beds with down comforters, duvets and large pillows.



The unit has several brand new appliances, and a large in-unit washer and dryer for your laundry convenience. We have plenty of dishware and cooking utensils for our guests, and a single serve coffee machine with coffee pods provided.



The living room has a smartTV with Netflix, HBO, ESPN, Hulu, and other channels for your viewing pleasure. We're equipped with high-speed Wifi throughout the house. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry soap, cleaning supplies, and extra towels are all provided for our guests' comfort.



This is a perfect space for business travelers, families, or a quick weekend getaway. Take time just outside of Portland to relax at Government Camp, Timberline Lodge, or the other local ski resorts, or enjoy nature in the Columbia River Gorge or Mt. Hood National Park. Eat at one of our many local famous restaurants, or go grocery shopping nearby and cook at the cabin. There's tons of free parking on the property.



We have done our best to make this place feel like home by including local books and board games. It is our way of sharing what our wonderful state of Oregon has to offer. Thanks for looking, and we hope you'll stay with us!

The Welches community in Oregon is located between the Sandy and Salmon Rivers, making it a recreational paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The area offers a wide range of activities including skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, mountain biking, kayaking, fishing, and golfing.



One of the popular bike routes is the Old Salmon River Trail, a scenic course for all levels of riders. Hikers can also enjoy a moderate workout on the trail. In the summer, the trail is a popular spot for swimming in the river. Golfers can enjoy a challenging round at the Resort at the Mountain, which features three nine-hole courses: Pine Cone, Foxglove, and Thistle. The courses offer stunning views of the surrounding scenery.
