Wonderful little lower level apartment situated in a great, convenient location. It made it easy to get around with proximity to the Capital and metro stations. Close to many good restaurants and entertainment within Eastern Market. Host was responsive and had very good, clear communication.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this charming VRBO in Washington, DC! The location honestly couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the National Mall, which made it incredibly easy to explore all the monuments and museums without dealing with traffic or parking.One of the biggest perks was how convenient it was to get around. There are bike share rentals right nearby, and I highly recommend grabbing the 30-day pass if you’re staying more than a couple of days—it made getting around the city quick, fun, and super efficient.The neighborhood itself is perfect. There’s a great little market within a 5-minute walk for anything you might need, plus several small bars and restaurants that give the area a really local, relaxed feel. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind after a long day of sightseeing.The space itself is a charming little spot with warm, cozy vibes that make you feel right at home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up.And Christie—the host—was absolutely wonderful. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the area and was such a huge help with anything we needed, from recommendations to little tips that made our trip even better.Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting DC. We’d definitely stay here again!

This property is a gem. It is closed to everything you want to see in DC. We had three adults in our party, and Christie was able to accommodate an extra twin bed in the laundry area, which worked for us. Very clean and quiet in a great neighborhood

Perfect DC Getaway Spot! We had a wonderful stay during our trip to Washington, DC. The property was clean, quiet, comfortable, and ideally located for exploring the city. We especially enjoyed visiting Eastern Market and renting bikes to explore the National Mall and all the monuments—it was such a fun and scenic way to take in the sights. Christie was a responsive and helpful host, making everything easy. Highy recommend!

Centrale ligging van het huisje, wel erg gehorig, je kan de bovenburen horen als ze in hun koffie kopje roeren (en de rest) Beetje lastig dat je via een andere slaapkamer alleen bij de toilet en douche kan komen. Verder mooi ruim huis.

This place was great. Christie was very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely come back here. It had all the comforts of home and served as a much nicer place for my family since I was splitting my time between them and work the majority of our trip. I wish the pool was on the property, but we ended up not having time to go anyway. :-)

Perfect for DC!

This cute little basement area was just what we needed while in DC. We were traveling with two kids, 5 and 7 and they loved the area, and the house too! The host was awesome, with lots of good recommendations, good communication and friendly. This will be a property we look for when we come back to DC.

A Nice Place to Land

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at Christie's garden apartment. The location was fantastic for all the activities we wanted to easily access. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable and we appreciated being able to pull the shades on all the windows to lengthen our morning sleep. We also enjoyed sitting in the shady backyard after our long days exploring. We didn't use the kitchen except for morning coffee. I'd stay here again!

Great Location and Cozy

Great communication with our host. The unit is just as advertised. The basement apartment is comfortable and is in an amazing location and neighborhood. In three walking directions you have access to few corner/mini marts, 6 to 10 sit down food options, street markets, and Trader Joe's. There are electric scooter and bike rentals everywhere you look, we used Lime. Uber or Cab rides were averaging around 20 bucks for longer rides to places by the waterfront and the neighborhood/city area over by the White House and Grand Station. It was a perfect location for our family of three to explore all DC has to offer. Super convenient quick food options, 2 min walk, for lunch or dinner when we got back from exploring the sites all day. The sleeping arrangements in this unit are different but the three beds were comfortable and bedding was plentiful. The kitchen had all we needed for Tea, coffee and small breakfasts. Shower was good and the living room couches and TV/Direct TV was cozy and relaxing in the evening. The unit has a solid rod iron security gate which is nice for people who like more security at a front entryway. Perfect home base for exploring.

Excellent location in Washington, DC!

We loved staying in this property! Our family could not have asked for a better location. We were within walking distance of the Capitol building, Smithsonian museums, and memorials. We were also near a metro stop, so getting around beyond those things was easy, too. The home was comfortable and cozy, and Christie was helpful and kind. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Fabulous Stay

Location location location, fabulous place to stay with walking access to so many historical sites and places (literally around the corner). Comfy place too with great amenities that make you feel at home. Host also gave great tips about the local area and in our case the Jazz scene. We'll be back and this will be where we'll want to stay!

Perfect location in Capitol Hill

Stayed here with my wife and toddler for two nights. It had everything we needed and was walkable to everything in Capitol Hill. Parking was easy enough as well. Host was very responsive and accommodating as well.
