My cousin and I traveled with my two college-age boys before they went back to school for a four day trip to DC. This house is located close to the national mall and museums. I very much appreciated the quick communication every time I asked a question. And I also appreciated the availability to store our luggage before check-in and after checkout.

Such a great place to stay in DC! This house was so cute and walkable to all of the best spots in Capitol Hill. There were several great restaurants and cafes right around the corner (Call Your Mother is the BEST for breakfast). Check in/out was super easy and the house itself was very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you want to experience all DC has to offer!

DC Visit

The house was clean and the HUGE TV was one of the kids favorites of the house. Everything you need is at your fingertips. Plenty paper products, cleaning products, coffee products. The house is located near shopping, eating, within walking distance to the museums. We actually walked back from the museums one day. Uber was very accessible and we were at the attractions within minutes.Parking is tight but we managed always to get a space in front of the house. Kam was very accessible throughout the week. This is a wonderful neighborhood, great house, exceptional host. You will not go wrong booking this VRBO.If we are ever back in the area, we will certainly book this stay.

Great Spot

Very quick to the National Mall. House was perfect! Beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, movie room perfect for nights in. Appreciate you all letting us use this fantastic space. The check-in and out were very easy as well.

Great cubby

Host was extremely organized and the property was exactly as described in text and pictures. Unless you fly into DC, I would highly recommend working with host to get a parking pass far in advance. We didn't realize how tight parking was before our stay until it was too late. Nonetheless, our host worked with us and we are very glad for his efforts. Great property, great host, and great experience.

Loved it!

The location was amazing! The house is so close to the Metro station, and being from a non-walkable city, it’s amazing to be somewhere residential but so close to so much. The house was exactly as explained/shown in the listing, which is always a relief. The beds were comfortable, and the house was clean and nice. The host, Kameron, was exceptionally responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

Swanky and fun decor in A location

We were a group of 6 that stayed for a week. The unit was spotless and clean and well layed out so we all had plenty of space. There were plenty of towels for both bathrooms. The kitchen table was roomy and could fit all of us for eating, working, or game playing. We enjoyed watching movies in the movie room. There isn't a living room per se, but we used the kitchen as the "hang out room". The only issues we had were an inability to get the tv in the kitchen to work for the first 4 days and the smoke alarm started to randomly chirp, causing us to have to take the battery out. The host was very responsive to any questions or issues we had, but there were a few limitations because our visit fell during the week of New Years Eve. I appreciated that the host allowed us to have our friends over for a movie night in the movie room. We had a great visit overall and I would definitely stay here again when I visit DC.

Unique option on Capitol Hill

Kam’s carriage house is in a great location within easy walking distance of Metro, great restaurants for every meal and a manageable distance for adults to walk to the Natl Mall. The property is spread out over three floors. This provided separation with two b/r on the lower floor and one b/r on top floor off of the kitchen. The middle entrance floor has a movie room (used it a lot) but there is no separate living room. The kitchen was modern - lightly stocked with coffee pods and minimal cooking condiments but with a good assortment of cookware. We prepared Christmas dinner with supplies from Eastern Market and Trader Joe’s. The parking is not on site. It is located in a garage which is .5 mile plus away and not a super comfortable walk alone at night. Kam was very helpful in providing an on street pass for a few hours for a dinner guest but we had provided advance info to be able to use the garage on site so recommend you double check that ahead. Communication with Kam was easy and he was very responsive. This is a good choice for adults traveling together - cool decor and awesome location.

This location is perfectly located for accessing the city and enjoying the shopping and restaurants of the eastern market district. The house was so comfortable and we loved the metro and movie themes throughout. The kitchen was a favorite chat and catch up location while the movie theatre was perfect for exploring new movies. Great location with easy access to Eastern Market and Metro. The space was very clean and the communication with property managers was easy. It has a movie room but no living room. My family got together around the large kitchen table.

Cozy home away from home

Great place which is near the Eastern Market Metro station, about 3 minutes walk. The kitchen table with the long table is a great place for us to gather and catch up. Kids loved to hang with us in that area also. Kam is great and responded in timely manner. He has provided great tips for sight seeing and how to get around using the metro system. The house is festive which our kids love. If we ever return to DC, we definitely stay there.

We were in DC for a concert at the anthem & this location worked out so well for us. Walkable to so many sites & metro as well so we were able to pack a lot into the one full day we had! The host, Kam was so welcoming, responsive & helpful throughout booking to checkout & after even. Attention to detail for sure and we will definitely stay again when back in DC.
