Beacon of Light - Whole Cabin -Close to Callaway Gardens. Pet-friendly!

Spacious private cabin with three bedrooms and two sleeper sofas. There are 2 queen beds in the second floor bedroom with a full bathroom attached. There is a queen sleeper sofa (air mattress) in the loft on the second floor. The loft is open (no door) and shares a full bathroom with second floor bedroom. There is a queen bed in the main floor bedroom with a full bathroom in the hallway. There is a queen bed in the lower level bedroom with an attached bathroom and a walk-in double shower. There is a pull out queen sofa in the lower level den area. There are 3 twin rollaways available. There are 16 stairs (no landing) from the main floor to the lower level and 14 stairs (no landing) from the main floor to the second level.
Wood burning fireplace on main level (first load of firewood free, $25/load afterwards), Keurig with K-cup pods provided on main level as well as welcome drinks and basic spices. There is also a coffee pot on the lower level.
Take in scenic views of the woods through floor to ceiling windows. The lower level has a den (TV), an electric fireplace, a game room and a kitchenette with a private entrance. Enjoy the quiet woodland setting from the wrap-around porches. The lower level has an outdoor screened-in covered area with a ping pong table and a table for 4. The front door porch is completely covered with a small banquette that seats 4. The main floor porch is not covered except a gazebo-like ten covering at a table that seats 4.
Go hiking nearby or explore various sites:
Located eight miles from Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain and FDR’s Little White House in Warm Springs, GA. Mountain lookouts, picnic area and FDR State Park Pool are within 3 miles. Entertainment for the entire family available at Butts Mill Farm and Wild Life Safari and the Warm Springs fish hatchery. Explore the surrounding areas to find Red Oak Creek Covered Bridge and Fitzgerald Fruit Farm (homemade ice cream- Yum!).
Wine tasting and blueberry farm are also within a 30 minute drive.

Beautiful property which fit our multi-generational family perfectly. Loved that the cabin has a tankless water heater so all can have hot showers . Close to Calloway and charming Pine Mountain. A great retreat!

This cabin was perfect for multiple generations. Our group consisted of my mom, daughter, SIL, two grands - 3 and 6, my self and husband. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space to spread out. Deck was one of our favorites. Enjoyed coffee each morning on the deck while listening to the birds. The location is spectacular. Only 15 minutes to pine mountain which has all your needs - grocery store, restaurants, gas stations, playgrounds, etc. We loved Calloway Gardens, Fitzgeralds Farm - strawberry picking, GA safari park. We also enjoyed FDR state park and the different look out points. Communicating with the host and check in was very convenient. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

This cabin is beautiful, cozy yet very spacious. We enjoyed a great Thanksgiving here with combination of our cooking and also delicious food from Dinners Ready by Chad. All beds and sofas were comfortable and everything we needed , and more was provided. Our welcome sign was appreciated. I definitely recommend this lovely cabin with amazing wooded views all around and we’d love to stay again. Thank you!!

The cabin was amazing, we had a large group for the weekend. We spent part of the day at wild animal safari, which was a short drive from the cabin. Later in the day we had a late lunch on the spacious deck, the adults rested upstairs while watching the kids enjoy the yard. Later in the evening we watched the kids "snipe hunt". I would highly recommend this cabin.

My family and I all stayed in this cabin for the week of Thanksgiving and let me tell you, we all could not believe how big and beautiful it is! Wow! A full dining table (so big too!) for our dinner, full kitchen that's open with the living area, which was so nice for cooking and also being with the family at the same time. Plenty of space for myself and 7 other adults and 5 children. Wrap around porches. The basement was like another little house, separate entrance, full size fridge down there, pull out couch with a separated bedroom, 1 1/2 baths down there too! There's a wood burning stove on one of the wrap around porches and a chimea on another level porch. Plenty of seating on the porches as well. I can't say enough good things. The owner has been in such good communication since the 1st time i messaged asking questions before I even booked and all the way through! Heads up, this place is far from big stores for grocery shopping so do it on your way there â˜ș Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

My issues with this rental were not with the owner but the property management. The owner was very responsive on most things. The management, not so much. The final straw was when a member of the management team showed up at the property unannounced. The man poked his head in the door and asked if he could come in. My daughter in law thought he was coming in about another issue we had with the property and was confused because it had already been decided that management would deal with it after our departure. It had nothing to do with the issue. He was there to retrieve some items out of the owners closet for other properties. It was deeply unsettling to the mamas that some random guy showed up without prior notice around the kids in our group. To top it off, trash fell out of his vehicle including a cigarette butt.

We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled up the property was beautiful. Once we walked inside the cabin it was huge. The pictures online don’t do justice. The different levels make it perfect for a multi family vacation. Plenty of beds for everyone to sleep in, which is important when you travel with 8 kids. The stay was just what we needed to all recharge our batteries. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Thank you again!

We just returned from a trip with 14 ladies for a ladies retreat we had a great time and the cabin was perfect. Very clean and a great location as well as we drove to the wild animal Safari and into Warm Springs to the Bulloch House for lunch. Thank you to our wonderful Host!

We enjoyed this rental very much. The host provided everything we might need to help us feel comfortable and welcomed. There was even some wonderful complimentary beverages. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the fireplace and fire pit. The kids liked the whirlpool bathtub, and had fun exploring the wooded area around the cabin. We hope to come back again and again!

My whole group thoroughly enjoyed staying at this immaculate cabin. We enjoyed all of the amenities this cabin had to offer. I would recommen a stay at this cabin to anyone. The Host was awesome.
