« Overall we enjoyed our stay. A couple things of note: Bringing black out shades is super helpful! The closet in the bedroom is big enough for a portable crib. Be sure to bring toilet paper. We only had one full and one partial roll between the two bathrooms(and they were paper thin). Because there isn’t anywhere super close, it’s nice to know to pack some ahead of time :) The road is so peaceful and we went on the trail quite a few times. It was a bit wet, so we didn’t make it all the way...

« The pictures and description are 100% accurate, but being there in person to take in the peaceful surroundings and views of nature with the family was a great experience. « Everything as advertised. Host went out of his way to orient us (videos, typed directions/instructions/info); quick to respond. Just enough development in the area to keep it country. SNP, SSP, Skyline drive all worth the trip. »

« The pictures do not do this property justice. Its more beautiful than you can imagine. The river access was super easy. The house is clean and has EVERYTHING you could possibly need at your fingertips. Kathleen and Jerry were very helpful and available to help with any little detail. Their recommendation of Crabills meat market up the road was great and they even pointed us in the right direction for a restaurant in town. « This property is close to the cave so u can save your time on that and probably this property is old but they have all kind of equipment for cooking and kitchen have nice space so whole family can enjoy a food at same time and nice 3 barrooms upstairs with window air conditioner so that helps a lot over all you can stay 3to 4 day very good and we had a great time in this property we all enjoyed a lot »

« This cabin was a wonderful place to stay! It was quiet except for the sound of birds in the woods. The interior of the cabin was clean and well furnished; the bed was especially comfortable. While we didn't make use of the fire pit, the screened porch was our favorite place to sit day or night. Although it might have been too early for them, we felt relaxed on the porch knowing we wouldn't be attacked by mosquitoes or other bugs. It was easy to take our dog out for a walk on the back roads...

« This place was a great spot to meet up with our friends! We had 4 adults and 4 kids and everyone loved it. This place is quiet and secluded it was very nice and didn’t seem like a rental it felt like a persons home. We were very comfortable. Also, the back patio area is amazing! We spent a lot of time sitting back there and I’m not joking when I say we cooked every meal on the blackstone grill! What a great setup! »
