10/10
My husband, 7yr old daughter and I booked a two night stay at Adas cottage which is a Fantastic warm and cozy cottage positioned in the best location in a heritage town of Warburton. We loved reading the history and story behind 'Ada'. We planned to see Mt Donna Buang for snow however we were unlucky as there was no fresh snowfall like the previous weekend. So we headed to Lake mountain instead (1hr away) and had a blast. So great for kids and tobboganing. The property is positioned high on a steep incline and surrounded by trees with wonderful views of the Mt donna mountain and overlooks the cricket ground and main street. The highlight was definitely the fire place in the lounge room which we loved using. Watching the fire was entertaining while having a relaxing glass of Rose (provided on arrival) :) We were given fresh bread, juice, milk and butter which was a thoughtful gesture and makes it convenient on arrival. Whatever else we needed IGA is only a 3 min walk across the road. The beds are so comfy and we got really good sleep because the town is so peaceful and quiet. We felt really refreshed after staying here and enjoyed experiencing the country side and escaping crazy Melbourne. Warburton is a beautiful town enriched with history and has an old world charm to it. We 110% recommend the old Alphine Hotel up the road for a delicious pub meal and Cjs pizza. Thank you Kathy for your hospitality. We will be back!
