« Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit. Nous sommes arrivés tard, vers 23h, mais il y avait encore quelqu'un pour nous accueillir car il y a un pub. La personne qui nous a accueilli nous a parlé français car visiblement, elle aime la France. Un client du pub a meme offert à notre fils un oeuf en chocolat car nous étions le week-end de Paques. « Une belle étape pour visiter Oxford et les alentours. Ce petit hôtel traditionnel est à dimension familiale. Personnel très agréable. A l'écoute et très disponible. Repas et petit-déjeuner excellent et copieux. La chambre 1 était parfaite et propre. Une salle de bain spacieuse et un fer et une table à repasser! Très pratique. Calme malgré la proximité de la route. Et une petite court aménagée à l'arrière très mignonne ! Bref, que du bonheur d'avoir découvert et séjourné dans ce charmant hôtel. »

The room was lovely and spotless and the bed super comfy and breakfast delicious ... but it's the extra special touches and extra special team there that takes this to another level!! There's free drinks in your bedroom, a very comfortable residents only lounge with more complimentary drinks (as you can see in the pics). That was a huge bonus and the staff were brilliant! « Tucked away in unspoilt countryside . It was indeed a warm, cosy double. Soft muted colours, furry blankets, gorgeous comfortable bed. Felt immediately at home' . The garden with twinkling lights and restaurant decoration are charming and food first class. We canx our booking due to an unforeseen hospital stay but could then make it and staff handled this effectively- thank you . We loved it and will be back. Thank you so much x »

« Great stay, friendly busy pub »

« A wonderful welcome and our room was lovely. The dining area was busy with both residents and local people. The menu offered a good variety and food arrived very hot and well presented. We wouldn’t hesitate to return but would advise that the age of the building means that stairs are very steep and the floors are uneven. »
