The property has started renovations new flooring in rooms newly painted. The outside of the hotel is outdated and I was a bit apprehensive but it met our needs for one night

It appeared that the property had recently changed ownership. A young family ran the motel and were very accomodating. I stayed 2 nights and it was quiet and comfortable.

It was average but the curtains were filthy. The toilet was too close to the wall in the bathroom that anyone overweight would have needed to sit sideways on the toilet. They charged an extra $20/day for our small dog but there was nothing stating this extra fee at the time of booking.

The property is 1-2 star. Needs to be painted, many signs on the outside about possible theft, many cameras in the hallways and notes on room doors about deadbolting. All of these things suggest theft and dangerous area though it does not appear to be a dangerous area and the host assured me it was safe. the ceiling in the bath was moldy ad in the room there was dark red splatter on the ceiling (hopefully food!). The doors to the room and bathroom need to be painted or replaced, they are warn, chipped, painted on etc. The walls need to be painted. The good: clean, sheets are decent, bedding clean and carpet was clean. The front desk staff are friendly and attentive.
