Newly representing HaleOMalia, which is a ground floor studio with an enclosed private lanai, and it is located directly on
the beautiful Waikoloa Village Golf Course. The unit has expansive ocean, sunset, and mountain views. Beautifully landscaped, the setting of
HaleOMalia is perfect for a refreshing retreat, romantic get-away, or an adventurous gateway to close by sunny beaches, lush tropical hills, and gushing waterfalls. Whichever way our special Hale Malia fills your needs, you will always leave with a lingering feeling that it was your 'Quiet Refuge with a Precious View' on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Hale Malia has approximately 700 sq. ft. of living space that includes a 200 sq. foot covered lanai. The lanai and apartment have beautiful tiled floors and tasteful furniture throughout. Hale O Malia will comfortably sleep two people with a queen size bed that faces the gorgeous park-like golf course and extensive ocean view. The kitchen, with beautiful maple cabinets and tiled counters, has everything you need for preparing meals including full refrigerator, electric stove, baking oven, microwave, and general small appliances, like coffee maker, blender, toaster, etc. Hale Malia also has its own laundry facilities and comes with fresh linens and towels.

An Olympic size swimming pool and tennis courts are available across the street at no cost at the Waikoloa Community Center.
Just minutes away is the beautiful Hapuna Beach State Park (Highway 19) on the Kohala Coast. This beach was recently named as the most beautiful Hawaiian Beach by a prominent travel magazine. It is this islands longest white sand beach.

Anaeho'omalu Beach, Mauna Kea Beach, Spencer Beach, and the Waikoloa Beach are also just minutes away. Enjoy snorkeling along coral reefs, walking barefoot along tropical beaches, swimming with dolphins, taking a helicopter ride, sunset sailing cruises, whale watching expeditions, or exploring secluded coves along the beautiful Kohala Coast line.

There is a 4 night minimum stay/10 during Christmas season. This is a non-smoking unit, no pets

Feels like real Hawaii

I absolutely loved staying here! The property is right on a golf course and the view was stunning. More than anything, I felt 100% safe as a woman going alone. Some people are saying there are a lot of stairs, there are about 10 steps...and they are not steep, very easy to get up and down.- 2min DRIVE to an awesome Grocery Store (I was there everyday!) & Gas station- 2min WALK across the street to a restaurant and bar on the golf course (Johnny's)- 45min DRIVE to the airport- 10min drive down the hill to Lava Lava Beach -They had recreational supplies in the unit: tennis rackets, badminton set, beach supplies - They provide 2 pool keys and a list of property activities- Plenty of towels provided- The kitchen dishes / supplies were stocked!- Although there is not AC, I went in the middle of summer and yes it gets hot during the day, at night it cools off perfectly (I like to sleep in the cold so I was a little worried, but they have extra fans in the unit)The only cons I would say: -The pathway of steps could be more lit for nighttime- The parking spots are assigned and you have two which is great, but they are a little far from your building, so I had a hard time originally locating the unit. Suggestion: Find the unit first then unload your suitcase.I would 100% stay there over and over again.

Great golf course view but basement unit

15 large steps to navigate DOWN to the unit. I could hear the folks upstairs moving around their unit. Using a padlock to open the screen door and then having to open a lockbox to get the key to open the door to the unit was a hassle. Finally, and this is my fault, be sure to find the unit on a map and gauge the distance to where you want to go on Hawaii Island. I was driving 15-30 minutes just to meet up with my family who were staying elsewhere on Hawaii - they don't call it "The Big Island" for nothing!

Great Place to Stay

It's my 2nd time staying at this property and will look forward to staying there more. All the amenities you need, quiet location with a gorgeous view of the golf course and sunset. The property management company provides great customer service and will also check in on you during your stay to make sure everything is to your liking.

What I love about this property is that it has an amazing views and is directly on the golf course. If it wasn't for the amazing views, I would have given it one star. The first thing we were greated with was the dryrot at the screen door, then the kitchen sink is horribly stained with a black cracking appearance, the countertops are old 4 inch tile with a wood trim that has separated and has dirt and food in the gap and the refrigerator finish is worn down to the metal. The bathroom isn't any better...mold in the shower, disgusting baseboards. The TV cabinetry doors are broken and wouldn't close so you are looking at electronics the whole time. Also, the information that was sent by the management company regarding WiFi was out of date. My husband works remotely so this was a huge stressor until the management company gave us the correct information. Overall, the unit is rundown and most of the furniture is due for replacement. For those of you that golf, beware that the golf prices are much higher than what is listed on the information sheet in the condo. I'm not sure who is to blame for the poor conditions we experienced. But the management company and the owners should work together to improve their guest experience. This property should be getting 5 stars.

Great for two people!

The condo was the perfect size for two people. We enjoyed the lanai with the screen door so we could enjoy our dinner at night, but also enjoy morning coffee with it open, watching & listening to the birds. The condo kitchen could benefit from updates, but it is functional and has a good selection of pots and pans. We felt safe and relaxed in this area and would stay again!

Quiet Waikoloa Village Getaway

This location is probably the quietest place I've stayed in Hawaii. The plants outside the lanai on the ground floor make it feel like you're living outside. There isn't any air conditioning or heat in the unit, but we stayed comfortable in April with the ceiling fan. It was probably about 75 degrees in the unit most of the time. There are only windows on one side, so you can't get a cross breeze to help cool it off. We left the louvered windows open at night. You may wake up to the sound of sprinklers in the middle of the night if you do that though. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. We would stay here again.

Perfect for a single guest!

The view was mesmorizing. My only concern was that even though ground floor, you have to traverse 15 steps. What comes down must come back up. It was difficult for me. A safety rail would immensely help ... if the condo association can consider.

Great place for our 25th anniversary!

Cozy place in a great quiet location with fabulous views. A dishwasher would have been nice but not necessary with just the two of us. We were able to buy some essentials for the place, rice cooker and Brita water filter pitcher, and get reimbursed.

Great location. Close to everything we wanted to do. The clubhouse was fun. The pool was excellent. Would have liked to know in advance that there was no A/C. Lot of steps to take down groceries. Would probably give it another stay but not during the summer.

The unit was very nice, I was very disappointed with the placement of the TV, It is in a large cabinet and the TV is very small. I would suggest that the cabinet be removed and the TV be mounted on the wall and maybe a small shelf for the other equipment. Also, a pizza cutter and pizza pan would be nice. Thanks
