Hale Hau'oli - Located on the western slope of Mauna Kea our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo in Waikoloa Village sits on the Robert Trent Jones golf course (The Village Course). Enjoy the benefits of the 900’ elevation with warm days and cool mornings and evenings. This vacation rental also provides shared pool, spa, BBQ and gym facilities on the grounds.

The Space:
Please note, effective Jan 1st. 2026, Hawaii's Transient Accommodations Tax will increase from 10.25% to 11% for all stays with an arrival in 2026 forward. We may need to collect the tax difference to secure and finalize your booking. We will contact you to confirm the adjusted amount.

Hale Hau'oli - Located on the western slope of Mauna Kea our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo in Waikoloa Village sits on the Robert Trent Jones golf course (The Village Course). Enjoy the benefits of the 900’ elevation with warm days and cool mornings and evenings, perfect weather for enjoying your Kona coffee and breakfast while watching the golfers on our lanai. Guests have access to the Waikoloa Village Assoc. tennis and pickleball courts and aquatic center, built in 2020. Or, enjoy our complex’s pool and hot tub and outdoor grills, just a minute’s walk from our condo. Go for an evening stroll and encounter wild turkeys, ducks or the endangered Hawaiian Nene. You may even book a horse-riding lesson at the Waikoloa Stables, the only Native Hawaiian owned and operated horseback company in the state.

Our remodeled condo has modern appliances and a well-stocked kitchen. Enjoy sleeping on a new (2024) memory foam king sized (master) or twin bed (guest). Watch the golfers go by or just admire the beautiful Kiawe (mesquite) trees outside the lanai from our new (2024) couch. Or, veg out watching our smart TV. Cozy comfort and stylish, Hale Hau'oli is a great value quality design and appliances including new dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and full size LG Washer/Dryer. Quality hand soaps, shampoo and conditioner is provided as well as a welcome basket of treats for your arrival.

While the unit does not have A/C there are quiet and powerful ceiling fans in this comfortable unit shaded by trees along the golf course. The unit has an assigned parking spot close by that is under the shade of solar panels in the parking lot.

When you’re hungry enjoy multiple restaurants from burgers and pizza, to fine dining at Pueo’s Osteria, all within a 4-minute drive. Or, take advantage of the best grocery store (KTA) we’ve found on the island and cook your own meal in our upgraded kitchen.

We have abundant supplies for a beach day and multiple beaches, including Hapuna and Waikoloa Beach, are within just a 15-20 minute drive.

For maximum comfort we recommend opening the windows in the evening and closing them in the morning to seal in the cool air.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full use and access to the apartment and grounds. The pool deck and public areas are shared with other persons in the complex.

The Neighborhood:
Waikoloa Village, a resort area on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island, is appealing for its proximity to beaches, golf courses, shopping, dining, and entertainment, offering a blend of relaxation and activity. The Village offers majestic views of the Kohala Coast and five nearby volcanoes: Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Kohala, Hualālai, and Haleakalā on Maui. The Village is known for its warm weather, tropical breezes, stunning sunsets, and homey Aloha Spirit

Getting Around:
A car is recommended for getting around the area and enjoying all that Hawaii Island has on offer.

NOISE
Please keep in mind that Guest is in a very small and peaceful residential neighborhood. Noise carries over quiet landscapes and near water. IBR asks that Guest and Guest’s children respect Property neighbors' privacy, peace and quiet. Guests are asked to adhere to the “Good Neighbor Policy” as follows: quiet hours shall be from 9:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. during which time the noise from the short term vacation rental shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the Property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.

NON-SMOKING RENTAL
This is a non-smoking rental. No smoking is allowed inside any of the buildings on the Property. No cigarette butts in gravel or yard.

PLEASE KEEP SCREENS AND DOORS TIGHTLY CLOSED TO PREVENT PESTS FROM ENTERING THE HOME.

SUPPLIES
As part of our commitment to ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay for our guest, we provide a complimentary set of initial supplies (paper goods and soaps) upon your arrival. These supplies are intended to help you get started and make your transition into our accommodation as smooth as possible.  After your initial supply is depleted, it is your responsibility to replenish any additional supplies needed for the duration of your stay.

TRAFFIC
Please DRIVE SLOWLY in our neighborhoods. The speed limits are 10 mph to 25 mph and there are many children and adult pedestrians and bicyclists.

USE OF PROPERTY
Guest may use the home only as a place of vacation. Guest may not use it for commercial purposes, for any unlawful, improper, offensive purpose or illegal activity. Please refer to Guest Book upon arrival for details and instructions concerning use of pool, spa, and/or air conditioning if these amenities are available at the rented Property.

NO PETS OR ANIMALS ALLOWED

NEIGHBORHOOD CONSTRUCTION
IBR is not responsible for any construction noise or inconvenience that may occur during Guest stay. No refunds will be given. Although IBR cannot guarantee full knowledge of any planned or current construction occurring, Guest may contact IBR (90) days prior to Guest arrival to inquire if IBR is aware of construction adjacent to the Property occurring and Guest may choose to cancel at that time IF there is construction occurring that may affect the Property UNLESS Guest has already been made aware of construction during time of or shortly after Guest booking was made.

When securing Guest booking with payment Guest is consenting to have read, understood and accepted all the terms and conditions of our Island Beach Rentals, LLC. Rental Agreement as excerpted above as well as the IBR terms and conditions also sent by direct email to guest at time of booking.
